The dining room is tiny and a bit cramped but the atmosphere is homey and relaxed. The food is simple and well done and very authentic. Bring a bottle of wine and enjoy. Get the Antipasti to start-it is awesome.

What a surprise to find an incredible menu, beautifully prepared and served in a perfect setting. It reminded me of the best meal I had in Italy where I paid so much more. I can't wait to go out of my way to visit again-- just bring your own Italian wine for one of the best dining experiences.

Roman Jewish cuisine.....sounded interesting, and it was!! Have eaten there several times and have not been disappointed. It's BYOB, So bring some nice vino with you. Eating a little early will save you the hassle of finding parking but even if you have to walk a few blocks it's worth it. Antipasti was homemade mozzarella with roasted red peppers, olives, tomatoes...delicious! Salad was the special, arugula with blueberry goat cheese and a tomato vinaigrette, the cheese was awesome. Entrees were typical Italian fare... We ordered gnocchi, vegetarian lasagna and pollo Romano. Nice size portions and very tasty, no one was disappointed. Shared a dessert of mascarpone and limoncello cake topped with real whipped cream and strawberry compote, delicious. Expresso was GOOD Italian roast. All in all a great dinner, we will definitely go back.

The only thing worse than the food was the service!!
Would NEVER go back.
Even the parking was poor.

Although the food was good and the menu had a nice variety of offerings; I was shocked when the manager came over and asked us to leave because they needed to turn the table over for other diners. Since we had only been there 90 minutes and we were still drinking our coffee, I am guessing they have not yet figured out how to work the timing for reservations appropriately. A real issue for them since the dining room is so small.
