My wife and I wanted a quiet, relaxing, romantic place to get away for the weekend. The Reynolds Mansion was exactly what we were were looking for - spacious, clean, warm, inviting, with a lot of interesting historical charm. Mike and Tricia Andriaccio were super hosts who welcomed us in as though we were old friends. The food was delicious and the ambiance made for a truly great weekend. My wife and I plan to return soon - this time in the summer or fall. If you're in the area, the Reynolds Mansion is a must stay!

The town of Bellefonte is halfway between Cleveland and Philly. This was a perfect meeting spot for our friends from Philly. There were 3 couples and we enjoyed every minute of it. The mansion is beautiful and the rooms are fantastic. We stayed in Grace's Garden room which was very nice and our room stayed warm all night. The food was wonderful, a delicious breakfast with outstanding french toast. There are some great shops and restaurants within walking distance even in the snow and ice. The Gamble Mill Brewery is a great spot. The Innkeepers were lovely and we cannot wait to come back in the summer. We would love to stay in the Colonel Green room next time and sit on the front porch in the warm weather.

Room Tip: The Colonel Green Room looks amazing.

Immaculate Victorian Mansion lovingly tended by welcoming folks who are enthusiastic about the property and the whole Victorian Bellefonte experience. Architectural details delight down to the tiniest hinges on the window shutters. Conveniently close to State College (PSU). Our hosts Mike and Tricia were accomodating in every way... if you are very lucky you might get to hear Tricia play the piano in the beautiful music room! Comfy beds, delicious breakfasts. There are two well behaved dogs in residence who will come out to visit if you would like them to. Don't miss the Gamble Mill Restaurant within walking distance - the food was superb! We "entered as guests but left as friends"... and look forward to another stay at Reynolds Mansion B&B!

Room Tip: We came during the week and Tricia was so kind as to give us a tour of the unoccupied rooms... all w...

My sister and I spent one night mid-week at The Reynolds Mansion on a trip to visit her youngest daughter who's attending Penn State in State College. What a delightful find. The mansion is glorious, all 11,000 square feet of it! It's what you hope a Victorian masterpiece would look like, with all the modern conveniences to boot. The baths are gorgeous.

Mike and Tricia couldn't have been more hospitable. We had my niece with us for lunch in Bellefonte and wanted her to see the mansion. Tricia kindly gave us an impromptu tour in the afternoon before we were slated to check in, graciously showing us around, telling us as many stories as she could, and, of course, answering our barrage of questions -- even though we interrupted her intended yard work!

We stayed in Grace's Garden Room, a lovely, sunny room in the front of the mansion. Breakfast the next morning was a delicious three-course menu. Our only regret was that we couldn't stay longer! We absolutely recommend The Reynolds Mansion as THE place to stay for any trip to Penn State.

A friend and I spent two nights here last weekend. As others have noted, the mansion is simply gorgeous and beautifully decorated. Tricia and Mike are fantastic hosts and we really enjoyed visiting with them.

We had an opportunity to check out all of the rooms when everyone checked out on Sunday morning and they are all unique and very nicely decorated. I also found them to be very spacious in comparison to other B&B's. We stayed in the Grand Tour and found it to be very comfortable with plenty of space to spread out and relax. It was also impeccably clean.

Tricia and Mike, while relatively new to the B&B world, are accomplished hosts striking the right balance of friendliness and interest in your plans while not being invasive. One of the highlights of our stay was visiting with them about the history of the house and the updates they are working on. It's clear they really enjoy what they are doing!!!

If you are in Central PA, I encourage you to stay at the Reynolds Mansion.

Usually, we're not big on B&B's, but we really enjoyed the mansion, our room, the owners and our breakfast. We stayed in The Woodlands Room which has a beautiful view out the window of the large sycamore tree from the 2 person jacuzzi tub. The bed linens were a higher quality Egyptian cotton. You have a private bathroom in your room. In the hallways on the 2nd and 3rd floors are coffee stations with a vast selection of individual coffees and mini refrigerators with bottled water. In the Snuggery room on the main floor is complimentary brandy for a night cap and DVDs to take to your room and watch on your 25’’ flat screen tv. The Billiards room has a beautiful 9’ pool table to play up to 11pm. The three course breakfast was truly a delight at the Reynolds Mansion. Mike, Tricia, Tony and Carmine made us feel at home in their home. It is less than 10 miles from the Nittany Mall with off the street parking. We strongly recommend Reynold's Mansion to all travelers. We will definitely go back. We want to experience each room and have new adventure.

Room Tip: All rooms are nice but no elevator, a lot of steps to 3rd floor.

My husband and I along with two of our children went to PSU for 'Family Weekend' to visit our oldest daughter. We had a difficult time finding a hotel in State College so we began to look at other alternatives. We contacted The Reynold's B&B and booked the weekend. What a great alternative to the typical hotels one would find in Happy Valley.
It's a ten minute drive to the campus but you are away from the crowds. The hosts (Mike and Tricia) couldn't have been more warm and friendly. The Mansion is beautiful and our rooms, The Woodland and The Nittany Blue accomadated our family perfectly. We aren't the biggest breakfast people but we couldn't resist Mike's delicious french toast and spinach/swiss cheese quiche (along with chocolate chip pancakes he made specially for our children). Everything was delicious and served with a smile by Tricia. After spending the day with our daughter and exploring the pretty town of Bellefonte, we played some pool in the billiards room.
We are so glad we happened upon The Reynolds. It was a memorable and lovely weekend and our children didn't want to leave...they fell in love with the owners' dogs, Tony and Carmine who will greet you when you enter their home.
We look forward to staying at The Reynold's Mansion in the near future. It was a truly relaxing and enjoyable stay.
