We joined another couple for dinner here and enjoyed it very much. The second floor dining room is near the second floor bar with a band. You could hear the band, but not so loud that it interrupted the conversation. It was good music too! They have a wide choice of beers, which my husband loved, but a more limited wine selection.
The appetizer mussels were fantastic and a must eat if you go there.
I had the seafood pastry-which was good, but maybe a little salty. My husband had a burger that he enjoyed very much.
The waitress was fun, gave the right amount of service and timely. The restaurant used local children's art work, which gave it a nice hometown feel as well as showcasing their talents. Some of the artwork was a little awkward in its placement (I spent my dinner looking at beached whales) but the intention is certainly not lost and much of the artwork was of high quality.
We would definitely dine here again.
