After a long day of travel, we stopped off the turnpike bedford exit. After passing through the exit fast food, we decided to detour to Omni Bedford springs. We've stayed and ate at a number of hotels across and this won is a wonderful surprise in the middle of nowhere. If you have a chance to spend time there, walk around, have a great lunch, take advantage of it. Its BEAUTIFUL, the service is first class and the food is very good

It is always a delight for us to hear about people that happen upon us because of our close proximity to the turnpike and are glad to hear that your detour brought you to our resort. We are glad you enjoyed your brief time with us and we hope you will return soon.

My husband and I stayed at the Omni Bedford Springs for a long weekend to celebrate our anniversary and were extremely pleased with our stay. We were able to check in early on a Friday afternoon before our scheduled tee time with no hassle whatsoever. Even on the golf course, we were impressed with the way everything was handled for us - i.e., the bellhop made sure our clubs were taken from our car down to the course for our scheduled tee time. (Note: coolers are not allowed on the course!). Our game was interrupted by a thunderstorm on the 14th hole, and we were instructed to wait 30 minutes to wait to see if the rain stoppped. At this point, we decided to forego the rain check and call it a day - but when we mentioned something to the man at the Pro Shop the next morning, he offered my husband a bucket of free balls to hit at the range. The first night we chose to lunch by the pool (so-so menu, but the frozen drinks, while expensive, were tasty!) and have dinner at the casual Frontier Room. My food was a little disappointing (the fondue was gritty and watery at the same time), but my husband enjoyed his meal. Afterward, we took a bottle of wine that we had brought from home to sit outside around the campfire, and were instructed that we could not bring outside alcohol to the outdoor seating area. A little disappointing, but understandable, given that the restaurant also serves alcohol. Our second night we had dinner at 1796, which I was very excited about, given a look at the menu. Appetizers were very tasty and filling, but after sending my steak back twice for being too rare, the hostesss came over and offered to take it off of the bill and gave me a complimentary glass of port (this made up for the chef's shortcomings). I should also mention that the brunch buffet in the Crystal Room was fanstastic. Our spa treatments were delightful, not only because we both had phenomenal massages, but there is whole hour-long process of mineral bath, sauna, shower and scrub that is complimentary before every treatment. And the relaxation room in between the mineral bath and treatment rooms is a perfectly relaxed setting, with everyone in robes and slippers, sipping coffee/tea or fresh water with lemons and oranges, reading magazines. Absolute bliss! The hotel is absolutely beautiful and enormous with a lot of history and the rooms were quaintly decorated. The grounds are impeccable as well. All in all, the service at the hotel was spectacular - not a cheap weekend by any means, but you definitely get what you pay for. I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a little R&R and some pampering (and with S'mores by the campfire, a tree swing and other activities, it seemed very family-friendly as well.).

The place is lovely including the pool with the springs. The tavern restaurant was nice and the breakfast was fantastic. We had a standard room, but it was very nice; comfortable bed and great bathroom. We did have to wait a long time to check in - after 4pm because they were fully booked the night before. Otherwise it was great.

I was delighted to return to Bedford Springs again! We arrived early and they gave us an early check-in, which was so nice. Our room was beautiful and the spa treatments were divine. I came with a group of 8 girlfriend's and we had a great time. We had dinner in the casual tavern. They were crowded but still managed to get us seated together and the food was delicious (french fries are to die for!). We all can't wait to come back next year!!!

Spent a week there is July. Best bed in which I have ever slept. Staff ultra friendly and very accommodating Rooms clean. Golf course amazing, perfectly maintained and challenging. Conference services and food were among the best I have experienced in 25 years. The spa is total luxury. In door spring fed pool is great and the outside pool with full bar and food service was outstanding.

If you go, join the "Select Guest Program" offered by Omni, As a member, we had coffee and juice, and a newspaper delivered to our room every day. They ask you to provide them with a list of your preferences in pillows and other amenities as well as free WiFi. This is maintained and used for all future Omni Hotel visits, anywhere. And best of all it's free

It is a destination resort without much of anything nearby. The Town of Bedford is down on it's luck with a few interesting antique shops. Couldn't find a comfortable place, where we felt welcome, to have a cold beer on a very hot day. The nearby Jean Bonnet Tavern is the only option worth the ride. However, it's not as good as it thinks it is.
