When my family and I first moved to Beaver County, Bruster's was our regular ice cream place. Then we started branching out and found much better options (such as Handel's) and gravitated toward frozen custard--there's lots of it in Western Pennsylvania. I find Bruster's ice cream pricey in comparison to its competitors and much too soft. It melts very easily. It's tasty, but other places in Beaver County have it beat. I can't quite figure out why people like it so much--perhaps the variety?
