“Hidden Gem”
Reviewed May 11, 2014

This being our first visit we will definitely go back. The menu choices are great with many homestyle comfort food choices. Reservations are definitely a must as this place tends to be extremely busy on the weekends. The night we were there the dinning area was completely
filled. As crowed as it was the service was great and we didn't wait long to be served. The homemade mac & cheese was great which we think had the hint of browned butter in them. A must try is anything that comes from the smokehouse out back. The ribs were fantastic and we will be back to try some of the other entree's. Sitting in the bar area we had the opportunity to view numerous meals coming out of the kitchen. All we can say is that another trip is being planned, most likely a mid week only just to be able to sit longer without holding up any tables.
A true hidden gem.

“Turned into a gem”
Reviewed March 15, 2014

We received great service from start to finish. The food was top scale from the chicken which was juicy to the pulled pork which was smoky and delicious. Our sides of baked mac and cheese and coleslaw was the best we had ever eaten.
The old hotel was updated and it is a gem to look at.

“BEST FOOD IN THE AREA!!”
Reviewed February 1, 2014

Our family came in last night for dinner, it was a busy night and you could tell the staff was really working hard, I ordered the crab cakes and my husband ordered the St. Louis ribs, you can tell the crab cakes were all real crab and the ribs fell right off the bone. Our waitress Britney was very informative and pleasant and made our experience a great one. The owner did an amazing job fixing the place up. We will definitely be back again!!!

“Excellent but slow kitchen”
Reviewed January 11, 2014

Had dinner last night with 4 friends. Everything was really wonderful except the food came out too slowly. Everyone enjoyed the food. Two burgers done medium rare as requested. Fries were crisp, cole slaw was excellent. My special martini was not too sweet with a baby Swedish fish in the glass. Pulled pork was very moist and tender. The place was packed so that could account for the kitchen back up. Our server, Barbara, was very attentive and pleasant. Always a smile when she came to our table. We definitely intend to go back.
