The front Desk guy was awesome. Very accommodating. Hotel was fresh and welcoming. Pool was warmest indoor pool I was ever at. Restaurant and bar was great! Excellent location close to skiing, restaurants, outlets and casino and hunting. I would stay here every time I am in the area no doubt. Just book it!

Room Tip: Just book it baby!

We reserved this room based on some good reviews, but boy what a mistake. where to begin.. the lobby is about the only nice part of this outdated hotel. Once you check in you walk down long dark corridors with air fresheners every 10 feet to mask the stench of 40 years of smoke. then you open to the door to your old, moldy, out dated, dusty, smelly room. the toilet was not cleaned, the carpet had stains on it, the ceiling had yellow stains on it, the TV was from 1995, the window leaked cold air, and the TV remote was broken. at this point we were thinking...lets get our nearly 200 dollars back, but we decided to see what else the place had to offer. we were really looking forward to the indoor pool. so we got the kids into their suits and we headed back down the cold dark smelly corridor to the pool. wow....the entire structure was dripping water from condensation. the roof was leaking, there was water all over the floors and they had rubber mats you had to walk on or else you were walking in water. I must say the swimming was the only portion of the stay that was ok. don't think about getting a free breakfast because they do not offer anything.....nothing...!!, and for the amount they charge they really should, or least have a real coffee machine in the lobby. so we ended up eating at a local diner for breakfast and the kids were telling the waitress about our stay and describing the black mold.. all we could do was laugh.
well live and learn I guess. bye bye $150.

Stated one night at HoJo on a recent impromptu trip to Poconos. Choices were limited due to last minute travel. The hotel is conveniently located at interstate intersection and there are restaurants and shopping nearby. The hotel is old and very worn! The room was clean but in desperate need of an upgrade. The ceiling had a really bad patch job and the toilet paper holder was attached to the vanity with packing tape! The carpet most likely the original. Despite the hotel room, the lobby was nicely decorated for the holidays and staff was pleasant. Parking was free. Can't comment on restaurant or bar as we are elsewhere.

When my family first walked into this hotel, it looked pretty classy but it just went downhill from there. The hallways were dark and dingy and smelled of a combination of lemon and maids smoking pot. The service wasn't friendly at ALL and glared at my family the whole time. The room smelled of smoke, and I was honestly afraid to sleep there because I thought I would wake up with spiders all over me. There were dingy brown stains all over the wall, and a 3-foot hole in the wall covered by a single piece of fabric. I couldn't imagine a toddler staying there because he could crawl into the wall and get trapped! This place could be compared to a concentration camp from WW2. The restaurant and lobby are reasonable, which I guess is why they only show those in the pictures. When you see this place, I would highly suggest you run before you get trapped.
