“A wonderful stay despite the weather”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 8, 2013

We booked at the last minute in early October after being recommended by another couple in Bend. We had a wonderful 2 night stay despite a horrendous storm sweeping in for most of the time we were there. Breakfasts were fantastic and it was great to be able to meet the other guests in the large living room.

Thank you for your review.

Storm-watching season is upon us, so escape from your daily routine and head on over to the coast! It's absolutely beautiful to watch the waves come crashing into the bluff from the comfort of a cozy chair in The Great Room. We always provide fresh baked goods, cheese and crackers, and popcorn for our guests, and we have a mini-fridge for foods you may bring. So, pack up your car and spend a few relaxing nights with us! We are looking forward to your arrival this winter...we are OPEN for Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's Eve!!!!!!! Come celebrate with us!

Cheers,
Stephanie and Sherwood

We booked and stayed here kind of last minute, so we only stayed one night. We are doing a driving tour of the California Coast and we spilled over into Oregon for our last night - glad we found this place. Sherwood and Stephanie were great, the breakfast was terrific, and it had just gorgeous view and access to the beach. Very calming and serene.

They made dinner reservations at Ona's in town, and we had a great meal there as well.

In the morning we had a great breakfast (thanks Sherwood) and got to admire Chester the Great Blue Heron that was perched in their Koi pond.

It was a very nice stay - if we're ever in the area, I wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Room Tip: Not sure the name of it, but it had a private entrance and the back door opened right up to the back...

We are thrilled that you enjoyed your last night along the coast with us! We are also happy that you enjoyed dinner at Ona Restaurant and Lounge...it's one for our favorites. We are very lucky to have so many wonderful places to eat yummy local foods and drinks, and there's something for everyone...Yachat's Farmstore and Brewery, Heidi's Italian Dinners, The Historic Drift Inn, Luna's Sea & Fish, and now there's Sushi! We hope to see you again!

Cheers,
Steph and Sherwood

Such a serene location and warm hospitality..
I think B&B should be all like this. Great breakfast, quiet location and most of all awesome view of the ocean..
I have celiac disease and sometimes hard to get any food. But they were able to make me gluten free pumpkin waffles with poached pear. It was heaven.. they also made me some gluten free chocolate chip cookies for the road..
I would definitely come back..

From a warm reception to farewell embraces, our stay at the SeaQuest Inn was a delight. Our room was comfortable,well-equipped,private, and had an amazing view. Stephanie and Sherwood truly understand and embrace the art of hospitality: sitting in the living room sipping wine with the hosts and other guests as we watched the sun set was a wonderful treat, breakfast the next morning was delicious and served with a sense of festivity and fun.

It's always a festive time here at the SeaQuest! And the sunset and forest views are second to none, which also make for a relaxing stay. Thank you for the warm compliments!

Although this inn was on the high end for us, it turned out to be a good stay and a memorable part of our extended trip to Oregon. The location is perfect, but our hosts were most accomadating and the breakfasts were second to none. We had fun and good conversations with the owners and other quests. Well worth it.

Room Tip: We always pick the best places and usually the least expensive room. all rooms are nice.

We enjoyed our stay at the SeaQuest Inn from start to finish. We went in peak tourist season, but the B&B felt spacious and uncrowded and the beachfront immediately behind it was virtually deserted -- a real paradise. The room was comfortable and convenient -- the back door opened up to back of the property and the beachfront -- and we enjoyed both Steph and Sherwood's signature breakfasts and early evening glass of wine. It is a short drive from the small town of Yachats, which has a few decent seafood restaurants for dinner. We have already recommended this wonderful place to our friends and family and hope we get the chance to go back! Highly recommended!

We love our spacious GREAT Room, with GREAT views. It is such a great space for relaxing, reading a book, whale watching, socializing during wine hour, playing cards, and enjoying our scrumptious breakfasts!

Thank you so very much for recommending us to your friends and family!

We are looking forward to your return, and their arrival.

Cheers,
Steph and Sherwood

We found this place online searching for a place to stay for our ten year anniversary. It was our first time to stay at a bed and breakfast on the oregon coast. We normally go camping but since there was fire danger we decided to splurge and stay at the Seaquest Inn. Best decision ever!!! Stephanie and Sherwood were awesome hosts, innkeepers, chefs and friends. They made us feel welcome and at home. We truly wished we had stayed longer than two days. The photos and real life images of our room and ocean views were just breath taking. Thank you again Stephanie and Sherwood for everything! We shall come back again.
Everyone we visit that asks where to go on the Oregon Coast we strongly recommend staying at the Seaquest Inn in Yachats!! :-D ♥

We are happy that we were your first B&B experience, and hopefully not your last!

Your room views are quiet picturesque, and breathtaking. We never tire of them, and appreciate the changes with the tides and weather. Two nights ago we witnessed the "green-flash" with our guests during wine hour! Sooo very cool!

Thank you again for the lovely review!

BIG smiles,
Steph and Sherwood
