I had a small steak marinated in balsamic vinegrate. It wasn't just that the steak was made to perfection, it's that the place itself inspires and reeks of artists, unconventionality, beach living and style. What a wonderful surprise to find on the coast. AND! It didn't cost me an arm and a leg.

We ate here twice during a recent stay on the coast. Both nights the food was very good and the atmosphere was pleasent. We were there on a Friday and a Sunday and there was entertainment both evenings. The sound was not so loud that you could not have a conversation and both groups were excellent. There were five of us in our group so there was many different meals ordered from fish to salad to burgers and everyone was pleased. The price was also reasonable and the service excellent.

My wife and I both had the crab omelette which was amazing with a very generous helping of crab. The home made wheat bread was also delicious. Looking forward to going back the next time we are in Yachats.

Excellent food and Dorothy is great! Food is fresh and of great quality. Dorothy's wry sense of humor just adds to the charm of this restaurant.

This gem was within walking distance of where we were staying, so we decided to stop in for a late breakfast. What a good decision! The food was good, in generous portions. We really enjoyed looking at all the personal touches, beginning with the hand-decorated menus and drink lists. The decor was fun and well thought out. Made for a homey feeling.
