“Fun to see”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 11, 2012

This is one that is much better seen at high tide, though the Oregon coast is so spectacular that it's worth being there practically any time in any weather. Well, I guess that is if you love the sea, as I do! Devil's churn is just one of the cool formations along the coast where the water rushes in and crashes on the rocks, then goes swirling back out with each swell. It's a really awesome spectacle.

“Nature at its best”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 29, 2012

We stopped there on a clear and sunny morning, not knowing what it was, but just planning on taking a few pictures. If you love the ocean and its quirks then you will love Devil's Churn. If you have on good walking shoes that are not slippery, you can even get up close.

“Ocean at its finest”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 26, 2012

Watching the power of the ocean is amazing...at high tide or low... in this beautiful pull off. Fees need to be paid and be ready for some stairs to get all of the way to the churn, but even fantastic from the overlook.

“Unique place”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 18, 2012

Devil's Churn is a unique place, one looks from above down into a cve where sea goes in and out. When we arrived it was ebb-tide so the waves were not that big as usual but still it was a great sight.
