Everyone very welcoming, free internet, microwave, good-size fridge, oven, extra store-away table, chest. But after you removed all the deco from the bed and opened you luggage there was not much room. Still OK. Windows from both sides and everyone and see your whole room. If you mind, you must close the blinds and stay in the dark. Outside seating and walkway by the window. Good beach access and a hose to clean your shows. Walls thin and not very insulating, door locks were both not OK (ony did not lock, other always opened; luckily both also had a chain). Old tubs. As the walls were thin and without oven and warm pullover you could not be there on a windy day (I was there in July and runny around in a singlet outside during the day).
All really OK for me - if it were on the budget but it cost as much as the good hotels I stayed in the same week and this I find I bit too much,

Room Tip: Hotel is set back from the sea and it's one level only, so it really doesn't matter where yo...

We've now stayed 2 years in a row at DEANE'S with our two big dogs. Sherie, Glenn, Katherine, and Glenn are so hospitable and eager to please that it makes the place feel like summer camp. It's a beautiful, serene, beach, with cozy and impeccably clean rooms. Quaint--not fancy, but more like a charming, private bed and breakfast-type place. Sherie even brought us a small tray if champagne and flowers for our anniversary! If we needed anything, ( including a vet for a minor dog injury), the staff were right there to help. The rooms open right onto a great dog walking grass field and 7 miles of sandy beach. Many times we had the entire beach to ourselves. There's a place to gather for bonfires, and picnic tables and grills for cookouts. My husband and I particularly like the small electric fireplaces in the rooms, and the floors of the rooms, which are dog-friendly hard floors. No carpet to get sandy and smelly. Rooms are cleaned or tidied daily or whenever you want. If you're looking for dog-friendly, quiet, clean, beautiful beach and simple charm, stay at DEANE'S.

This was our second stay at Deane's, the first was back in December of 2012 which we thoroughly enjoyed. This stay was equally enjoyable with a nicely decorated/clean room. The owners and staff were very friendly and helpful. The official greeters are couple Corgis which are the cutest. So, if you are looking for clean friendly place to hang out at the coast with miles and miles of beach to enjoy than look no further. A terrific place at excellent value!

Deane's has a fabulous property, with very easy access down to the beach. Pet friendly rooms, unbeatable price...literally. Beds were comfortable, showers were hot and staff was extremely friendly! I appreciate a pet friendly beachfront hotel without ridiculous fees! They even provide dog towels, a dog bowl and have a pet wash station out back to wash the sand away. I recommend highly!

We have stayed at Deane's Oceanfront Lodge quite of few times. The owners and staff make it a very pleasant stay for us and our pit bull grand puppy Felon. What makes it are the comfortable beds and warm atmosphere and the coziness. A true highlight to our stay is taking our puppy down to the private beach located directly behind the lodge, and in the mornings, they serve fresh coffee and donuts and muffins to help get your day going.

Upon arrival, they supply you with amenities for your dog if you have one. A nice cloth bag with a dog dish, some dog treats, a towel for the beach and a sheet to rest on inside.

We and our grand puppy feel most welcomed.

Room Tip: We liked the one with the kink size bed and kitchenette. The electric fire place sets a nice ambienc...

We just returned from our two night stay at Deane's Oceanfront Lodge. There were five of us, two children (13 and 5), my husband and myself and our large dog. We had the two bedrooms with kitchen and it fit us perfectly. Loved being right on the beach. Separated only by a large expanse of lawn and an easily managed set of stairs. Having a bad knee I was concerned that I might have a problem with the stairs, but they were not at all steep and nor long either.

I had never really thought of staying in Yachats until I read all of the great reviews about Deane's. I am so glad that I took the time to investigate the area. There are tons of things to do and see in the area. We went to Cape Perpetua, Sprouting Horn and hiked to Hobbit Beach. And spent tons of time at our own almost private beach. We also found several wonderful restaurants right in Yachat's (Heidi's Italian, for one).

Overall, I highly recommend the area and Deane's. The rooms are very well priced, and it is wonderful to be so close to the beach. Not a high end place, by any means, but it has everything you need and more! Loved it. We will be back of that I am sure.
