A friend and I stayed here one night. The room was very large for a double and very quiet. The bathroom was large with everything functional. The toilet seemed low. The lights by the beds had directional reading lights.
The hotel is right off of I5 but was quiet. The desk personnel were friendly and helpful.
My only negative is that the building felt cold and sterile to me.More

good hotel, good location, pool too cold
The hotel was clean and staff were very helpful. The breakfast served was good and hot. The pool needs to be heated because it being a outside pool was not enough to warm the pool. Worth the stay because of the closeness of the outlet mall and restaurants are close with a car.

Great place
I stay at this location at least twice a year and am never disappointed! Breakfast is always fresh and yummy, very clean rooms, nice staff, and very close to dining and shopping! I would definitely recommend this place!

Clean, large room
Stayed here for a recent class reunion and was very happy with the accommodations and the staff. Our room was nice and very clean. There were two comfortable, overstuffed chairs, each with an ottoman and the bed was also comfortable. The staff was great. The breakfast was also good as they changed up the menu each morning. I'd stay here again and recommend it to anyone.

Good location, nice, super clean rooms...but a few things off....and we aren't high roller travelers.
Queen Double room was super nice and super clean. Maintenance guy hanging new pictures on the wall when we arrived. Why give a room key out when someone is working in the room? And, the pictures looked crooked, so at least he hurried to complete it. Our keys NEVER worked, even after three switch outs and 2 desk staff coming to try. They seemed helpful in a way, but not terribly concerned. The pool was unavailable, desk staff with two different reasons. Uncontrollable algae (WTF? YUK) and a chlorine adjustment because the weather was so hot. I think one of the renegade mohawk hairdo boys running up and down the hall pooped in it, but that's just my snarky opinion. The breakfast was okay, the basic waffle maker, some tired looking apples, cold cereal, dry muffins. Not expecting more than that, and the coffee was welcomed. After breakfast hours, only powdered creamer is available, and desk staff wasn't willing to pilfer some of those tiny liquid ones from the breakfast room for us. The Manager himself seemed nice enough once we caught up to him at check out, but during our 2 night stay, staff weren't empowered to do much without him as "The Manager makes those decisions, and he isn't here right now" was a standard reply to most inquiries. The best thing about this hotel was that it really was clean, the beds comfortable and the location was good. The stay was highlighted by Mad Max staying there too. I hope the manager doesn't answer and or reply with one of those standard "Thanks for staying, we always look forward to improving our guest experiences"...blah, blah, blah. Nothing can save an indifferent staff or management.

Good hotel, but feels like it needs refresh
When we visit Woodburn to shop at the Outlet Mall, we usually stay at this hotel. It's very convenient to the mall and service is good. The breakfast is good so you don't have to go out and the pool and hot tub are good to relax after a long day of shopping. The hotel is close enough to Portland, but without being in a city hotel. From this location, we can easily visit Portland, Beaverton, Tigard, Salem, Silver Falls State Park and other attrations.

That said, although it is still a good hotel to stay at, it feels like it needs a refresh. Some of the furnishing and rooms are starting to feel dated as things wear out, get a bit dirtier, etc. A good refresh would make this a top hotel again.

I would still recommend staying here though as it is a good value and is definitely close to shopping.
