My partner and I tried this place on a chance, as we felt uneducated about the Willamette restaurant offerings. Seeing a packed restaurant from the street got us across the threshold. The menu is unassuming - quite as are the prices. While the portions are nice, the rice was dry. BBQ pork with snow peas, nice. If the chef worked a little bit harder at refining the recipes, the food would be more memorable. Case in point: the Shanhai Wonton was nice but a bit under fried. Sorry but that is the truth.
The old ladies love this place so you know it's a good value. Word.
