We stayed here after the awesome Willie Nelson concert at Maryhill. My boyfriend said it reminded him of "a Mennonite house" because it was clean, plain, and old-school. Also, a clock was audibly ticking in the living room to add to that feeling of austerity. However, the clock got turned off, and the owners were very gracious and hospitable, particularly David, who made an excellent breakfast. Nice bathtub, nice porch, and a very clean, lovely old house in the middle of gorgeous wheat fields.
