We stayed at the Cliff House for a couple of days last month and had a great time. The Alsea room had a private entrance, was cozy, and had wonderful views of the Alsea river merging into the Pacific. You can pretty much sit in your room and just stare out the glass window panel across the room. There is an access path to the beach close to the B&B. The breakfast is not to be missed. It is almost a full meal with fruits, scones, muffins, and the gourmet dish that Sharon makes. Yum!!! She was also kind enough to handout ziplock bags to pack the remaining food to snack on while enjoying the scenic Oregon Coast. Will definitely go back.

We have stayed at many B &B's and The Cliff House is our favorite! This trip we stayed at three B&B's along the Oregon Coast and the only one we will return to is The Cliff House in Waldport, Oregon. The view is the best on the coast! Sharon and Glen made us feel like family. The room was comfortable and had a deck with a full ocean view and a quant parlor stove. The hot tub was wonderful after a long day on the motorcycles. Coffee was delivered to the door before breakfast...and the breakfast were all wonderful. Sharon is a great cook with home made scones, muffins, fresh squeezed O.J. and each breakfast better than the one before. There is an ocean view from the dining room, and a fire going in the Great Room, and the conversation was always lively bewteen guest. There is a beach that goes for miles and a view of the Waldport bridge. Dining is up or down the road for 8 to 15 minutes, but there are many wonderful choices. We have returned over the years and are always pleased.

Everything at this bed and breakfast was wonderful. The view of the ocean is unbelievable. It is right there! I could sit on the little love seat in my room ,which is pulled up to the windows that line both outside walls ,forever. There is a nice deck too but it was cold and windy during our stay. The room was comfortable and clean. The breakfasts were great and we enjoyed having a scone or muffin to take along for the day. Sharon gave us great ideas for hiking and tide pools and also restaurants for dinner. We even had some good political discussions! Waldport is a very, very small place so we drove about 20 minutes to the next town for dinner. We really enjoyed our stay. It is a great spot to stay while exploring the coast.

We just spent a wonderful two days at the Cliff House in the Alsea room - what a fabulous view!! We felt as if we were in our own secluded boat, enjoying a full view of the ocean. We watched the seals from our window, and it was hard to pull ourselves away to go out to other sightseeing. Plus, Sharon & Glen were totally hospitable, and Sharon served wonderful breakfasts - fresh fruit, juice, scones, muffins, and smoked salmon quiche one day and cheese blintzes with fresh berry sauce the next. She even provided us with bags to take along extras of the bakery goodies, which we enjoyed as we spent the afternoon taking in the beautiful Oregon Coast. We would definitely stay at Cliff House again.

The views from our room and from the dining room were fantastic. The breakfast was a gourmet delight. Sharon, the Inn Keeper served fresh squeezed orange juce, home made scones and muffens, ham, and blintzes. When the breakfast was over she passed out Zip Lock bags so the guest could take the left over pastry to munch on the rest of the day. The bed was a king size and the huge skylight/windows let us watch the moon pass by and set into the ocean. The windows are are washed daily and the view is ever changing. The beach is just steps away and the surf sounds put us to right to sleep. This is a gem on the Oregon Coast and shouild not be missed.

Such a beautiful location. Sharon and her little dog are quite hospitable. She is particular about breakfast time, but it's worh it. I've never stayed anywhere that the views were quite as spectcular from every angle. She sheets are ironed, the movies available are plentiful. There is a gazebo over looking the ocean where a local massage therapist give massages. This was the best part of my stay.
The ocean was quite ominous, but spent a lot of time enjoying the waves and view. The local seals play hide and seek as you walk along the beach. If you're considering northern Oregon coast, this is the place to stay.

This B&B has views you'll find no-where else. The Ocean mixes with the Alsea river right in front of you. The rooms are very comfortable, clean and tastefully decorated. Sharon likes Teddy Bears. The breakfast was more than we could eat. The fresh fruit, homemade muffins and scones and fresh squeezed orange juice started the meal. The entree' was Orange Souffle' with strawberries and ham, tea and coffee. We ate all this while watching the waters churn. This was one of the best breakfast we've ever had in a B&B. This will become a regular stop for us for years to come. The Cliff House, in Waldport, is one of the best kept secrets in Oregon.
