We have gone there for a few years now, both for the old-time atmosphere of the lodge and the skiing. The personnel at the lodge were almost uanimously always helpful and seemed to be happy with their jobs and appreciative of the people using their facilities. The construction of the lodge never ceases to amaze us. You will probably never see the old fashioned workmanship in any other facility in the United States. You would probably have to visit some old monasteries in the old world to see something as unique as this lodge.
By the way, the restaurant food is outstanding, a little expensive, but well worth it if one is appreciative of good food excellently prepared and presented. Their Easter brunch was one of the best buffets we've ever experienced.More
