“Good Bet”
3 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 30, 2014

Shiny new brew pub in Tillamook that has good food and good beer. Served by knowledgable hosts and hostess crew this is one of the better bets in the town. Could not sample all of the brews however what I did sample was worthy of consumption by the masses. I sampled other food places in this town and came up with this being one of the better bets. Casual atmosphere with good view of the brewing process.

“Fun! Interesting! Wish we would have come on the weekend for a tour”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 21, 2014

We had lunch here on a whim and it was such a treat. The food was good (not amazing) but the beer was great. It was fun to have such a great view of the operations. We were disappointed that they did not offer tours during the week so I would recommend coming on the weekend.

“Fried. Cheese. Curds.”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 15, 2014 via mobile

I've went here twice in the past few months. It is definitely a casual bar atmosphere. They have great beers! My favorite is the Surfers Ale and close in second is the Kiwanda Cream Ale. But the reason I am willing to drive an hour to Tillamook just to visit this place... Deep fried cheese curds! They are ah-mazing and have a great dipping sauce. Granted the staff isn't the most professional, it won't stop me from returning for more great food and drinks.

“Lots of places to park....”
1 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 2, 2014

Over-cooked, under-served, over priced, chaos behind the til...that about covers it. Sign on the door: "Help Wanted". Should be "Help Needed - Badly..." Whoever is running this place has no idea of how to run a pub or food service. Beer is ok, actually pretty good but nothing special - there are lots of good beers around here. Sat at the table for a bit, went back inside - asked "how do we order?" Them: "right here, we don't take orders at the tables." OK. We asked how they cooked the burgers - them: "medium is pink inside" - good, two mediums ordered. After a bit, two well-done, dry pieces of gray meat arrived on absolutely dry buns. Might have been ok if there were any condiments. Back inside..."Can we get some condiments?" Them: "they are outside, just help yourself." Went outside...nothing but some salt packets and vinegars on a industrial food service table (classy). Went inside...waited. waited. waited... One young lady ("I'm new...") at the til trying to take orders from other confused customers while three guys are standing around in the back. waited...... (burgers & fries getting cold) them: "can I help you?" us: "can we get some condiments please?" them: "they're outside on the table." us: "there are none there." dialog continues until someone agrees to go outside with us. (burgers now cold) them: "ummmm...." finally finds some little plastic packets of mayo and mustard hidden in a deep square metal pot like those used for dressing at the "all you can eat" buffets... them: "see, here they are." After digging around discover there are no little plastic ketchup packets.... Back inside. wait. waited.... You get the idea of how this went. Good GOD, people. Then two of them, one obviously the supervisor who came out of nowhere, took over 10 minutes (I watched the clock) to figure out how to use my gift card (mercifully of a low denomination so i don't have to go back) AND take cash for the balance. Did I forget to mention the fried cheese curd "starters" that finally made it warm, not hot, some time after the main course? This place is a horror show. And I LIVE HERE! We had really high hopes for this place. Now I know why there are fewer and fewer cars outside. Bad News: see above. Good News: there are plenty of places to park and the busboy was very attentive and friendly.
