I went to Tillamook with the intention of visiting the Tillamook cheese factory. Instead, I ended up here. It's a cute little store with a petting zoo and collection of antique tractors outside. There were plenty of novelty pastas, wines, jams and jellies, and cheeses to sample. None of them was exceptional, in my opinion. The store was very oriented toward tourists. I would have bought some of the Blue Heron cheeses, which were soft cheeses, however, I did not have a way to keep them cool in the car. All in all, the store was cute, I had a great turkey and brie sandwich, but the vibe was crowded and touristy.

The Blue Heron has it all. Very nice sandwiches and salads. The wine tasting had great variety and good advice. There are also some very nice chocolates to round out the day. The Blue Heron is noted for its cheeses and salad dressings; deservedly so. The shop is full of cookbooks to tempt one, as well as sauces, spices, and knicknacks. Outside there are friendly farm animals to feed.

Great for the kids with their petting zoo but a bit pricey for us. Had a wine tasting area as well that was well stocked. Our friends enjoyed that.
Quite crowded to manuever thru the store too.

Went for the wine tasting, stayed to eat after sampling so many goodies including marianberry pepper jelly and smoked brie. The staff were friendly and very accomodating.
