It's cheese and ice cream. How can you go wrong? Bought lots of yummy treats in gift shop, including fudge, honey, jam and my favorite, cheese curds!

Thank Jennifer C

Having had the Cheese Factory recommended, was a little disappointed in what we found. However, we did leave with a nice supply of goodies.

If you are in Oregon, you HAVE to go here!!! The tour is fun and informative AND you get to try different cheese samples at the end! (you still get to even if you don't do the tour) Then they have every kind of cheese they make for sale! Definitely suggest getting some cheese curds. =o] After you've perused the store, enjoy some fresh Tillamook ice cream.

Touring the factory and the gift shop was fun. We were there on Christmas Eve so the production line was not operating, but the gift shop personnel were so friendly and helpful. Samples of cheese were free and tasty. We needed some ice to keep our purchases cold and the cafe cashier gave us a free bagful. Tillamook is a class operation

We took the self-guided tour through the Tillamook Cheese Factory. At the beginning is a short video about the cows that furnish the milk for the cheese-making process and their care. After watching the video proceed upstairs to the viewing floor with huge windows where you can walk around and view the process from beginning to end. It's a great vantage point for photography. When you finish viewing, head downstairs to the tasting room where you can sample five or six of the types of cheese made on-site. From the tasting room you go through the store where you can buy all of the Tillamook products. I learned that Tillamook also makes ice cream which is very good - it should be with 13% butter-fat!
