“Fascinatiing insight into historic aviation”
Reviewed February 18, 2013

Amazingly preserved location and an educational insight into military defenses of the US during the second World War. We were visiting from London, and enjoyed this attraction enormously. A must see, even for those who are not aviation buffs

This was a family visit, all of us over 20 but it would be suitable for families with teens and younger children alike

“Men will love this place- the women not so much!!!”
Reviewed January 24, 2013

My husband visits this museum every year and takes whatever male friends are with us. From experience, the women arent so excited about it. They do offer plane rides over the ocean if your interested.

A little shocking to find such a place where it is, I think there are tours but I just looked around. A fun visit.

“Cathedral of aviation”
Reviewed January 10, 2013

One of my favorite air museums, and I've gone to a LOT. The hangar is the main attraction here. Built to house dirigibles in WWII it is as historic as the airplanes and I believe it is the largest wooden structure in the US. Good airplane collection with some rare examples. We flew in from McMinnville toured, ate lunch at the coffee shop, then flew the coast up to the Seattle area. Near perfect day,

“Great place to.feel.history”
Reviewed December 22, 2012

The TIllamook Museum is well done. The overall size is hard to imagine without seeing.
Imagine playing 7 football games indoors. Better yet think of an aircraft carrier parked in a garage. This hangars could do.it. must see if you are in the area
