We stayed for a Fastpitch tournament. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. All of the rooms have a leather sofa, fridge, microwave, and coffee. The pool was small but worked fine for the girls. The breakfast was much more than any other hotel offerings, plenty of choices, including healthy options. We will definitely stay in this hotel again for next years tournament. Restaurants are close by, some within walking distance. More

My husband and I recently spent two nights here while driving through the area and we loved it. We had a large king size room, and it was spacious, with a sofa (that would pull out if if you needed) it. The bathroom was also VERY large. The bed was comfortable and the room was quiet - we could not hear noise from our neighbors. Very soft sheets, towels that were of good quality, and everything was clean and new.
We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning and thought that it was a little better than average. There was a waffle bar (always appreciated), plus several cereals and fruit, yogurt, breads, etc in addition to the typical eggs and meat options.
We also used the hotel hot tub and found it to be very clean and well-maintained, with towels available on-site.
The hotel is located south of the downtown area. We had a rental car on a drive from Seattle to San Francisco, and we didn't mind the distance. In fact, we appreciated the free parking, and we found that the places we wanted to visit in Portland were very public and easy to park using city spaces. The area this hotel is located is near malls and chain restaurants, so it could be convenient if you needed that, too. I recommend this hotel and will stay here again if we are in a similar situation.

This was my first time staying in Canby. The reservations had been made for me so I didn't know what to expect. Wow! What a beautiful facility - very clean and comfortable. The room was outstanding and affordable.
But what made the stay exceptionally grand was the service provided by Kendall and Joe. These two were at the desk all the nights that I stayed. Typically, hotels have their A-Team on during the day and their B or C Team on at night. Not here! Joe and Kendall were definitely the A-Team! When people stay in a hotel, they are gone all day and come back to the hotel in the evening. Joe and Kendall made me feel like I was coming home at the end of the day. They visited with me, joked around with me, and took time to ask about my day. They also helped me get a temporary pass for working out. I can't thank them enough for making me feel so welcome!

This facility was an excellent place to stay while visiting the Portland area. I thought that the room was very comfortable and easy to relax in, and the breakfasts in the morning really helped to get the day started off on the right foot. I hesitate to let others know how great a spot this is, for fear they'll get all booked up, but I have put my world class pianists here all year long and they rave about the rooms and the service! Yet, our Music Teachers Assoc. is only out $150 a night give or take for a $400 a night hotel and room!! LOVE!
