Description: Clock Tower Ales is a new pub in The Dalles, Oregon. They offer pizza, salads, sandwiches, wraps and many appetizers. They are working on their own brews but until they perfect them they offer many wonderful brews, all on tap. It's a bright and happy place with great pizza and beer. The bartender, a friendly young lady, was happy to discuss local fishing and other recreational opportunities in the area. We thoroughly enjoyed our pizza and our visit to Clock Tower Ales. We will definitely be back the next time we pass through. Really fun place.

The Clock Tower is in a beautiful, historic building in downtown The Dalles. It's a nice place for regular people to hang out. It's bright and open and nice enough that I would totally bring my Mom in there. When I have met friends at Clock Tower, I always have a good time. The servers are attentive and the seating is mixed. The food is okay, not great, and a bit overpriced. They have an excellent selection of beers, wines and even a few ciders. I love this place!

A pub in the former courthouse, a historic and lovely building. Excellent selection of local beers, wines & cider. Very comfortable, with spots to suit every atmosphere you'd want (booths, large group seating, side rooms for quieter conversation, outdoor tables). Quite family-friendly. Standard pub fare. As a vegan, I appreciated the vegetarian & vegan options. The staff are very friendly, but somewhat young and inexperienced (bringing finger food without napkins, bringing other food without utensils), but quickly rectify their mistakes. Despite these minor issues, it's overall a gem and very worth a visit.

CTA has 30+ local (Pacific Northwest) beers on tap, which is the best option in town if you like microbrews. The food selection is minimal (not usually a bad thing), but is very good quality; for example: their sides to sandwiches include a fruit cup, which didn't include the normal waste-of-space cheap cantelope. It had apples, strawberries, and grapes with a nice touch of (feta?) cheese. I had the veggie wrap, although I'm not a vegitarian. It was great and very filling.
This is a cool, welcoming place to hang out with friends or sit by yourself with a laptop and do some work while enjoying a local draft brew. I think it is in a former Masonic lodge or some other older building.
Staff is super-nice and obviously well-trained.
Come here for good beer, good food and good times.
