I heard good things about this restaurant and was looking forward to trying it based on recommendations from others, and since it is owned and operated by a Christian family. I was very disappointed. It is nothing more than an overpriced deli. I don't like paying $7 - $8 for a simple sandwich! The beverages are overpriced, as well. There is no table service -- you order at the counter just like in a fast food restaurant. The menu is primarily limited to soup and sandwiches. It is a destination for lunch, nothing more. Not for special occasions. As noted in another review, the atmosphere is bistro/coffeehouse rather than restaurant. I would not recommend that anyone go out of their way to locate the restaurant (in a strip mall) to eat there.

This spot is nothing fancy and in a strip mall, but provided a very comfortable, easy stop for lunch or coffee. The staff was extremely easy-going, no pressure and welcoming. Patrons order from the counter, with an extensive, reasonably-priced menu on the wall, then food is brought to your table. There were lots of choices, particularly for salads and sandwiches, and several appealing specials of the day (including a BLT w/ avocado that we still regret not trying.)

The decor affects kind of a bistro/coffeehouse atmosphere, with lots of small tables, or easy chairs and loveseats, and a "fireplace" -- the plug-in kind, but it still added a little something to the ambiance. This is the kind of place where people come solo, in pairs or in small groups, and you don't feel self-conscious. Free wireless access is really convenient, too.

Because of the easy route and accessible parking, when we feel like getting out of Eugene, we will definitely make the effort for a return visit.

Met a friend there for afternoon coffee. I believe the young man who waited on us was Adam and he was very pleasant to chat with and made a mean White Chocolate Mocha! We enjoyed a chat in the easy chairs by the fire place. Didn't feel any pressure to vacate when it started to get busy. Free internet as well. Love this place. Have visited when the weather was good and enjoyed the outdoor tables as well.

We were driving back from Central Oregon and need a late lunch. We didn't have much time but did not want fast food. I found this place here on TA. Ordered Priscilla melts and loaded baked potato soup. All were very good and no fast food guilt:). We will be back:)
