Staff and hotel were all top not notch.
Staff was efficient, friendly and did the little things that make a stay special.
Feeding Lamas in the morning or watching the birds in the back corner all unique and enjoyable.

We arrived to find the staff very friendly at check in. We got an oversized king room that also included a table with 2 chairs and a couch with a coffee table. The room was very clean. It also included a small refrigerator and a microwave and a coffee maker. These are always nice things to have in our room when you're traveling. Continental breakfast included a mixture of hot and cold items. The pool and jacuzzi area were clean as well as maintained nice. Don't forget to feed the llamas while you are here. We will definitely be back.

P.S. I've included pictures of our room because they show how nice the room is. Check out that there are two vanity areas...very nice!

We checked in with no reservation, their regular rooms were sold out so they gave us a 600 sq. ft 1 bedroom suite for the same price! It was so great that we stayed an extra day. The bathroom was huge with a wonderful spa tub and separate shower. they also have resident Llamas and 1 Alpaca that you can enjoy. Staff was delightful, friendly and we would definitely go back. They serve a wonderful comp breakfast in a cute themed dining room.

Room Tip: If you can't get the free upgrade, it would be worth paying the extra just to enjoy their suites...

Well we certainly are glad you enjoyed your stay Marlynn and that you even stayed an extra night. It was good to see the staff was able to provide you an upgrade to the suite (something we cannot always do). Great pictures of our Llamas too! Thank you for posting those. Hope to spoil you again soon! Paul Haggerty, General Manager

My spouse & I had an oversized king room with a sofa bed, so it would sleep four. And it had two sinks, refrigerator, microwave, & flat screen tv. The facility is all non-smoking, very clean, & quiet (it sits back from Highway 20; traffic noise is muted.) The 2-story buildings enclose a ginormous green lawn, adding to its appeal. There is an outdoor pool and hot tub. Outdoor tables are a plus, especially the ones close to the breakfast room. Eating outside and watching the resident herd of llamas is a real treat. Each room has a private patio or balcony. The continental breakfast is extensive--waffles, burritos, fresh fruit/fruit cocktail, hardboiled eggs, bagels, etc. Its location makes it a good choice as a base to explore Central Oregon. A grocery store is across Highway 20 as are a couple of fast food places. Staff is cordial--both front desk and housekeeping. This was our second stay; it won't be our last.

Room Tip: There's no elevator, so make sure you request a ground floor room if you have mobility concerns.

This is a wonderful, relaxing hotel with beautiful grounds and a great pool. The rooms come with a nice deck, porch and chairs to sit in. Rooms are also very spacious. But the great moments came from the interaction with staff. I got great directions for cycling routes. My husband's shoes came apart and the manager helped repair them enough to get us through the rest of our trip. Plus, when we arrived early after cycling a VERY hot day, staff made an extra effort to get us into our rooms early. Plus grocery stores and other eateries a very walkable distance from the hotel.

Room Tip: All the rooms are great.

We spent 3 nights in Sisters at the Best Western. This establishment is one of the best run I have ever been to. The staff is great. Doing their jobs and intacting well with the customers. The location is close to town but far enough away to be quiet. Breakfast was fine and the rooms were large, clean and quiet. What more could one ask?

There were 12 in our group and at times we took over outside seating areas, bringing chairs in from all around. Never a cross word from the staff. We tried to be neat but I am sure we always left some sort of mess, by morning it was cleaned up.

On top of a great establishement, Sisters is a fun place to visit and a great place to ride your bike!

The people come first at this hotel. Comfort, and amenities abound. I look forward to many more adventures at the Ponderosa Lodge! My two children found a small bird trapped in a nice bird feeder. "Ron" at the lodge tried many ways to get it out, but to no avail. Without any further hesitation, he cut the feeder away (destroying it) and rescued the bird. My children were overjoyed to witness this act of placing a small life above an expensive object. I was pleased to see that the hotel staffed such great personnel.

Thank you Catherine R for your review and recognizing the efforts of Ron in saving the bird from one of our feeders. The feeder is replaceable, the bird is not. Though one might say "well there are plenty of other birds". There might be, however, birds and all animals provide great enjoyment, plus are part of the balance of nature. The wild life that abounds at the Best Western Ponderosa Lodge is important to us all here. This week we had two 5 point mule deer bucks cavorting out front with traffic stopped to view their tussle. Something rare to see. Greatly appreciate your taking the time to recognize Ron's efforts and for staying with us. Looking forward to having you and the kids back again in 2014!
