I would recommend the suite. Great room and view. Stay on the second floor, very quiet. The suites come with a Spa tub with a classy shower/tub enclosure. The King size bed was very comfortable. Ours had a pillow top mattress and nice pillows.
The room an a recliner chair , sofa ,large flat screen tv . frig, coffee maker, wine glasses. We had a balcony with 2 chaise lounges and tables. This over looked the Sister Mountains and pool area .
The location is inside the town , but you would never know it. Trees everywhere. Great for walks, close to stores and eating .
A personal Thank you to Doug the manager and the staff. This one of the "Best" of the Best Western's.
Sisters is a Nice town close to everything , but away from it all.

Room Tip: Second floor suites are Great. Well worth the extra money.

This is a beautiful modern lodge-motel with large, well-designed rooms almost entirely made of wood. The continental breakfast was good. We thoroughly enjoyed our two-night stay here.
A master-touch was having a paddock of lamas in front, with food available to feed them.

Within walking distance to Sisters, this lovely property is fragrant from the surrounding ponderosa pines. Our room was spacious and spotless, charmingly decorated in a western theme as is the rest of the motel. There were plenty of cars in the lot, but there was no noise. Breakfast was convenient and substantial enough to fortify us for hiking and sightseeing.

Although we didn't use the microwave, we appreciated the small refrigerator. Ray's Food Place (way) across the street was a good source for postcards, wine, and a few snacks.

We especially enjoyed the room's private balcony overlooking a wooded lawn featuring birdhouses, the marvelous outdoor pool, and huge hot tub. The resident llamas provided chuckles as they gazed at us with long lashed eyes.

Luckily, the Sisters leg of our vacation allowed two nights at this highly recommended establishment.

We stopped at the Ponderosa Lodge during a 10 day motorcycle ride through Oregon and Washington. We were very pleased to find nice, clean rooms and a great outdoor pool and hot tub. All next to a "ranch" setting with llamas in the field. Very charming and comfortable. The staff even gave us towels to wipe down our motorcycles in the morning. Highly recommended!

We stayed here while went skiing at Hoodoo. Perfect location, hot breakfast waffles and lots of other goodies, you can't go wrong for the price. The friendliest people too. They have pellet food you can feed the Llamas and it's a fun experience. Right across the street were a bunch of little stores, including a Dollar store. Great location and great, clean rooms. Also, the hot tub was nice to come back too after skiing all day - there's a pool too, but too cold for that yet...........we stayed on 2nd floor and it was very nice. I would highly recommend this place.

Room Tip: I prefer 2nd floors so no stomping

This was one of the best Best Westerns we've ever stayed at and I've been to a lot of them all over the northwest in my business. We decided at the last minute to squeeze in a trip to beautiful central Oregon for part of our spring break this year and were lucky enough to score a three night stay at this hotel. We have two dogs and this hotel is nestled right up against the Deschutes National Forest which was a big bonus for us. We took long walks with the dogs into the forest in the evenings. The site has friendly llamas that the kids can feed anytime they want to, lots of wild bird feeders (saw a couple of rare desert morning doves), big mule deer at the property line every day and a noisy owl at night. It was a wild life and outdoor lovers spot for sure. The rooms are larger than most. The staff were super friendly and accommodating and we will DEFINITELY come back again. SIsters, OR is a beautiful little town too.

We just got back from a one night stay. The room was large. The furniture were good. The mattress was very good. The location was outstanding. They have a farm so the kids liked watching the lamas. Also they have lots of deers that stay there in the wild. The breakfast was average but overall great value for your money. We would definitely visit this place again.
