We were a little suprised when we first drove up...most lodges we have stayed at are back in the woods down a windy road, while Five Pine is just off the main drag in Sisters. However, because this is Sisters, the main drag is lightly travelled, and the way in which the cabins are set back on the property ensures only peace and quiet.

We only stayed one night to attend a dinner at a private residence just outside town so did not have the opportunity to take full advantage of all the amenities, but we will be back! Friends raved about the spa, there is also a brewpub, fitness center, and theater on site, and there are a number of very intriguing shops and restaurants only a short ride up the street on one of Five Pine's complimentary bikes.

Check-in was quick and friendly, and they'll pour you a couple of free (and good) glasses of wine or beer in the lobby during the early evening. Continental breakfasts at most hotels are usually disappointing, but theirs is higher quality than most.

The cabin we had was large, clean, and well-appointed. The grounds are impeccably maintained and feature a nice outdoor pool and small conference center. Sisters is a hidden gem in Central Oregon, and Five Pine is one of the reasons why.

My husband and myself have traveled extensively and are very picky about where we stay, we like it to be extremely clean, comfortable and convenient to take our two small dogs out. Five Pines has it all, our cabin was wonderful, the right size and tremendously comfortable and quiet, the big tub and huge shower perfection, the lovely fireplace and yummy bed, not forgetting the comfortable robes, but besides all that it was accessible for the dogs, grass right off the private patio and get this you could leave the dogs in the room when you left to go eat. With two restaurants and a theater with food, not to mention the spa. Then there is beer and wine tasting/get together in the lodge every afternoon. It is truly an escape you will long remember and well deserving of a 5 star rating! Norm & Pam Glover

Room Tip: We loved the cabins, private and quiet, you are in your own little world. Relaxation at its best!

I have never stayed anywhere like Five Pines. Set in the most beautiful tranquil nook amongst tall pines and fragrant wild flowers, it is simply amazing. The rooms are very well appointed, comfortable beds, great waterfall bath tub and wet rooms with free wi fi and wine tasting. Nice buffet breakfast with good wholesome food. The small pool is nearly always empty so you never feel like you are disturbing the other guests. The staff are lovely, really helpful and made sure we had a great sightseeing trip too. But being there, and simply relaxing into the vibe is impossible to describe. I only hope that some day I can return.

My husband decided to surprise me and splurge(for our family).
We stayed in a family suite with the loft.
It had a beautiful European Bath tub, gas fireplace and separate loft sleeping area(more like a separate bedroom) Nice bar-mini fridge/ coffee space.
Thoroughly enjoyed the room. Very nice breakfast and breakfast room.
We wish we would have had more time to enjoy all the facilities.
The only disappointment was for my granddaughter who wasn't able to ride the adult bicycles.

Everything was wonderful... Our classic cabin was terrific, but I wished the frig was a little bit bigger and it could use a microwave. Microwaves are only in the caboose cabins. The grounds are beautiful and well kept. The spa was to die for. I got the Lotus Dream massage and it was heaven. The locker room could have been a bit bigger. There was not much room to move around when there were a few other ladies in there with me and only two showers. There was a mix up on my room reservations and price, but it was fixed promptly. Free DVD rentals, free use of bikes and pool.
