I thought you had to travel outside the US to see water like this. Absolutely stunning. The campground has a couple of tent sites and rv hook ups but mostly boasts the cabins. All of the cabins are not created equally. Read the Linn County reservation site descriptions very closely. For example I believe that both cabin #2 and #16 are listed as double rustic but #2 has electrical outlets and #16 does not. If you are going with a friends, they should be good ones, many of the cabins seems to have curtains for interior doors and not doors. All the cabins are old but have propane lighting and stoves as well as heat. A major surprise for us was that this campground DOES NOT HAVE FIRE RINGS. That is right - no campsite fires. There is a community fire ring and one in the day use area. Most people, including us did not seem to know this. Any cooking means on the propane stove (which is pretty nice and powerful but you need your own pans).
The lodge has a kitchen with pretty basic fare and some convenience store-type amenities such as Tylenol, marshmallows, ice - even fishing rods! The best deal there is an ENORMOUS cup of vanilla ice cream for $2.50.
You can rent row boats (no motors allowed) for $30 a day or $15 an hour. There is a $5 fee for the boat launch if you bring your own. The lake is stocked and the fishing is good. This was a fun and relaxing place to be. Don't expect cell phone service and bring what you need.
There are nice hot showers too.
