“Beautiful and Inspiring”

The Oregon Garden is a great place to walk around. We went in July when the weather was hot, but better than to risk going in the winter when it tends to rain every day. There is an entrance fee to the Gardens, but admission is free when you stay at the resort on site. My husband and I spent a few hours wandering and taking pictures. We even got some ideas for our own home garden and landscaping. It's amazing what they have put together with various plants, flowers and art structures. Great places for picture ops like in front of the fountains or the gazebo. We have been to Butchart Gardens in Canada, and weren't expecting much from little old Silverton, Oregon, but we left impressed.

“Fall colors are best”

There's a shuttle that carries you around during most of the year, which is wonderful if you have somebody with a disability with you. It doesn't run in the winter. The wintergreen berries in the conifer garden are delicious!

“Beautiful and serene”
Reviewed December 21, 2011

This was a magical place to visit with my mom! We walked the whole thing and saw so many cute little details that really made it worth the trip. My fav spot was the gazing pools and they looked even more awesome in the fall with all the leaves changing. The kids area has a really cute tunnel and hedges carved into animals that were really cool. Every kind of tree, plant and foliage that oregon can grow is probably in this garden. I loved it and will make it a yearly visit!
