Dinner Package: Rooms are all ground floor, spacious with fireplaces, frig, micro, widescreen, patio, free internet connection. Package included dinner for 2 (we had fillet Mignon & Scallops - reg. 59.), hot breakfast buffet for 2 (reg. 20), tickets to the Oregon Garden for 2 (reg. $20) and several other discounts - all for 99. a night (Sun-Thur). There is entertainment every night in the spacious lounge (our night had a great rock-n-roll cover band). In one of the top ten small cities in the U.S., Silverton, Oregon. About 15 miles from Silver Falls State Park. Near the entrance is a house designed by Frank Lloyd Wright that you can tour for a fee. There is no food store for snacks at the hotel, and no pop machines so grab your snacks before you get there.

Room Tip: I can't imagine there being a bad room

Thanks to a special promotional offer, we spent the last night of a long road trip at this resort. It exceeded our expectations with its beauty, comfort, service and amenities. Though we had some wonderful perks with this promotion, we will definitely consider staying here again and for a longer time. The expansive gardens were filled with everything one can imagine. Trees of many types, multitude of flowers, wetlands. All making up a tremendous garden for touring on foot or by tram. The room was very comfortable; six rooms to a 'cottage' with several cottages. The appointments were quirky yet very attractive: an eclectic selection of furnishings but most pleasing. The fireplace had a field stone hearth The deck was roomy enough and having a great view of the gardens and western mountains. Dinner was terrific with one of the best filets we've had in a long time. Of the various spa treatments available, I chose a long and fabulous facial. Treat yourself to this wonderful resort just east of Salem, OR in the wine country. Very worthwhile.

Room Tip: Ask for a good view: some decks don't seem to

I booked the online special rate and it turned out to be a great value. Rooms are located adjacent to the Oregon Gardens. There are approx 12 buildings that contain 6 rooms each. The rooms have their own decks with chairs and a table. Our room was clean, large and comfortable. The price included unlimited access to the Gardens, breakfast buffet, and discounted lunch. The restaurant is nothing fancy but offers good food at a decent price. It is a nice quiet place.

This is a quiet, peaceful property. Come here to get away from it all and relax for a weekend. The proximity to the Tulip festival and Silver Falls State Park is a plus. The "cottages" look like houses and you don't have anyone above or below you. The outdoor pool and hot tub looked inviting but our room was a bit far and it was 45 degrees outside, so we didn't indulge. The style of the property reminded me of McMenamins, but didn't have as much character. They do have a bar/lounge with live music every night, which gives it a fun vibe. The font desk staff were friendly.

We had a package that included the room, entry to the gardens, hot breakfasts, dinner and a bottle of wine. It was a great value for the money!

The room had a fireplace and small patio, both nice touches. Also high ceilings, mini fridge and microwave in room. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. However, the room had a bit of a strange smell and the finishes and decor were not as nice as I expected, given that this property is fairly new.

The restaurant has a great view of the gardens. Our dinner server was attentive, knowledgeable and eager to please. Breakfast was decent, not amazing, but for a hotel breakfast, it will fill you up at least. (Scrambled eggs, sausage, potatoes, fruit, muffins, granola) Dinner was pretty good. Mostly steaks, seafood and pasta on the menu. I probably would not come here specifically for the food, but I would happily eat it while staying here.

All in all we enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

We've stayed at the Oregon Garden Resort 3 times within the last year. We've seen no change in staff, which is a good sign, and absolutely no lack in quality of service. Free live music in the lounge each night, very good food in the restaurant, good quality hot breakfast in the mornings. Everyone seems to be committed to making your stay enjoyable, and ensuring that you have whatever you need. And the unique layout of the rooms (6 rooms in each indidual building) is great: no one running dowh hallways or jumping up and down on the floor above you!

A must visit! This resort is amazing, beautiful and an super value. We have stayed at the resort about four times over the past 2 years. The rooms are wonderful and spacious, they come with a gas fireplace and a personal deck for each unit. We really enjoy the reasturant, lounge and Spa at the resort. We would highly recommend Oregon Garden Resort.

Stayed here one night on a business trip and was very impressed with the spacious and tastefully decorated rooms, huge flat-screen TV, free internet and complimentary breakfast. This resort is located just outside the lovely town of Silverton, with lots to do both day and night. It is also adjacent to the Oregon Garden itself, which is a "must see" attraction in the Northwest any time of year!
