They are so helpful here. Pleasant owners. Clean, quaint & dog friendly. Only a couple blocks from the beach & great stroll on the promenade walk way. Each room has a different theme. We stayed in the New York room this year. Will choose another motif next year as we have already also stayed in the boat room. What fun! Will return for sure.

Room Tip: Dogs on lower floor is better as dog area is close by.

My hubby and I stayed here over Labor Day weekend 2013. We loved the location, only 2 blocks to the south end of the Prom. U street Pub across the street has great food and an assortment of beers that I had never heard of, so fun to try some new ones. The little bakery/espresso a block away had an excellent quiche special for breakfast that came with fruit and a croissant, and there is a little grocery market across the street as well. We slept well, it was quiet in this area and the bed was comfy. Very small room, which we knew before we booked. We will definitely stay here again, just will book a larger room. But we waited till the week of Labor day to book this, so not much was left available. The room was very clean and the staff were extremely nice and helpful. We had the Garden Room and I loved the décor, very cute! Quite a walk to town, but hey, that's what we like to do when on vacation anyway. We got lots of exercise!

The Sandy Cove Inn was previously recommended by friends, and this was our 2nd time staying at the Inn. The tower was perfect for the occasion. Clean, unique place to stay with great view and sound of the ocean - and again - the U Street Pub and the coffee shop across the street!
We will be back again, again.

Room smelled of animal urine as they are "pet friendly". Stayed two nights and room never got cleaned because "someone walked off the job". Not my problem. What a rip off, what a dump. For almost $160 a night you could definately find a better place in the Seaside area.

Was in the "blue room", it was small but had all of the basics. The decore was pleasantly quirky and the room was very clean. The worst of it was hearing the plumbing every time someone used the facilities. At the quiet end of the beach, which was a plus for us.

This motel was just what we wanted. We stayed in the "boat room" which was so cute, hand made quilt on the bed as well as one hanging on the wall. Though small the room was adequate for us. It was meticulously clean and we slept like babies. The beach was 2 blocks away and a great evening walk on the beach and morning walk with our shelty was wonderful. Our shelty even had a gift bag with treats, a water bowl, and towel for wiping his feet after the beach. The motel clerk was very pleasant and helpful in choosing a place to dine. Over all a delightful experience.

Room Tip: We had the boat room which was great.
