“True Hospitality.”

We were traveling for ministry and needed a few days R&R between weekend services. I hoped for a beach view but knew we probably couldn't afford anything very nice. We asked the manager what was the best he could do for us since it was midweek and off season. He gave us the suite for a price we could afford. The owner even offered his washer and dryer so we could do laundry. This is TRUE HOSPITALITY. These folks put their heart into this establishment. Our room was perfect for our needs. Very clean and nicely decorated. A small deck gave us a beach view about a block away. Little grocery store and small bistro across the street were so convenient! Walk to beach in a 2-3 minutes. Shopping was about a fifteen minute walk. Had the beach to ourselves most of the time and didn't feel like we were in a touristy place. Peaceful, pleasant stay for us. We will come back and we will recommend Sandy Cove to all our friends.

We had two reserved rooms for the hotel, but we were told that there was a plumbing issue and he wasn't sure if it was going to be fixed or not. He asked that we hang out a bit, so we went across the street to a family friendly pub and ate and had a few local brews. We were literally across the street, great location by the way, and could see that the plumber was still working and it was getting late for us to not have a room. We checked back and instead of the rooms, he put us, two families in their rental house which was right next door to the hotel. It was four bedrooms so it had the right bedding needed for all of us. It was a cute house, very clean, decorated with a lot of thought and in a nice location near the beach and about a mile from downtown, which was walkable. The owners/managers were very nice and it all turned out great, we made breakfast in the morning and walked to the beach and then packed up. I was really interested in the cute rooms at the hotel, but this worked out nicely. The beds were a little droopy, but I have slept in worse. :)

My Husband and I recently stayed in the Sandy Cove at Seaside. We have stayed at many hotels all over Seaside and this is now one of my favorites!
Really cute decor and Very clean, a great value for your money. It is a little far from the downtown area, so do be prepared for a bit of a walk. The owners for so friendly; they recommended a number of restaraunts in the area and they all had excellent food. We brought our dog with us and they even gave us a special welcome gift for the puppy - too cute!

I would definitely stay here again!

We stayed at Sandy Cove Inn, in the Columbia Tower Suite for New Year's Eve. We were going to stay in a smaller room with a kitchenette. But then I asked for an upgrade and paid a little more but it was worth every penny of it. He showed us both rooms that were very nice, but I just couldn't pass up the Columbia Tower Suite. We loved the full kitchen and the two bathrooms. We could see the beach from our kitchen and bedroom window. We walked along the beach on the prom, which was only a 20 minute walk to the main shops on Broadway. We loved it. We hope to stay there again.
Thanks, Judy

We have now stayed here on 2 separate occasions and I can tell you we will definitely keep coming back. The staff is absolutely wonderful, service excellent, and as for the hotel itself its comfortable, clean, and cute. Each room is decorated in a different theme. The staff has added so many unique touches, it really feels like they put real effort into making this hotel feel like home. They are pet friendly and go so far as to give your pet a little welcome gift which includes treats, a water dish, and a dog towel! I would recommend this place to anyone who likes 5 star service on a budget. Really, this place is so wonderful I don't think I could say enough nice things about it!

My husband and I have visited the northern Oregon Coast for many years and have stayed in some nice little places as well as some not so nice little places. We are partial to staying in the smaller places due to the prices. The lower the price, the longer we get to stay. But a couple of years ago we stumbled across the Sandy Cove Inn in Seaside, Oregon (Avenue U) and we no longer want to stay anywhere else! The owners are some of the neatest & friendliest people we've ever met. It is family owned and they have made us feel like family as well. Each room has it's own clever theme and are always well kept. The staff is fabulous -- friendly and trustworthy to a fault. Even the parking lot is always spotless! Located on the quiet end of town, a block and a half from the beach, with a "mom & pop" grocery store and a restaurant across the street, there's nothing more to want for. To Steve, Ann, Mike, Betsy & the girls, we are so grateful to have found you and hope to see you many more times in the future! Danny & Vicky
