the place is dirty ad the food is really sub par. i went there when wanted a quick sammy. The bread was probably wonder bread and it was dry. the rest of the sandwich was nothing special. the tots were fried too long and didnt taste very good. I would recommend stopping here if you are hungry given everywhere else you can eat in Seaside. I did notice they had $1 draws from 4-6 so maybe it would be for a drink than something to eat.

The location was handy and I used a restaurants.com coupon so I can't complain too much. There were four of us and we were seated quickly as they weren't busy. The halibut fish and chips were okay. The fries were fried to within an inch of their lives. Very dry. Inedible really. Even the six year old wouldn't eat them. Not much in the way of atmosphere, but I don't think they pretend to be. Nice waitress though.

Enjoyed the atmosphere, they were able to accomodate our large group with little wait time--maybe it was our timing. Kids menu was very good and the food was very tasty. The clam chowder was on the of the best I have tasted---lots of clams too.

We went in this place, and sat down. Our whole group could smell some off putting smell. None of us could figure out the smell, maybe bad fish? The cafe was also almost empty, while all others on the Prom were packed. We left before ordering. Food may have been out of this world..but who would dare try it?

We have a son Sam, and we'd read that this was a great place to stop. Who knew we shared the same last name as the owner too! Adult and kid friendly menu, easy atmosphere, and in the heart of Seaside. Would definitely return here again.
