We live on the coast for several months of the year which gives us a real feel for the best place to have a good meal. There are enough great restaurants in the area that there is never a need to eat in! Sooooooooo.... we eat all of our meals out!

McKeown's is one of the 'go to' places for consistently good food. The menu offers a variety of foods which is great if you have a fussy group of people to feed. In addition to the standard menu a series of Buffet Dinners on holidays is a real treat. [On St. Patrick's Day their Irish Soda Bread is heavenly!

All of this combined with friendly service creates a place where you will find as many locals as vacationers.

Large portions, very well prepared food. Nice menu.

I had the fried artichoke hearts as an apetizer. A bit unusual and very good. I also had the prime rib sandwich with fries. The sandwich was piled high, sliced about an eighth of an inch thick, and very tender and tasty. I managed to eat a little over half of the french fries, they were excellent.

My wife had the chicken Marsalla, and that was very good. We were not hungry enough to try desert.

A little pricey, but about what you expect.
