Had never been to Seaside, and was told that it would be a great getaway. We looked forward to watching the storm that was coming in, and found we had a PERFECT view, right outside our patio door!!
A great relaxing, and peaceful place to recharge~Will definately be back!!

Hello Lori! So glad you found us and had a good time at the
Lanai. There is no better place in Seaside for viewing winter storms up
close and personal. Glad to know you will be coming back for more storm
watching!

We travel to the Oregon coast for a get-away 2-3 times a year and always choose the Lanai when available. The staff is extremely courteous and the rooms are kept very clean and are nice sized and comfortable. We love the quiet location off the main roads and the fantastic view of the surf. The rooms have an oblique view of the waves so they offer a very enhancing experience. We love to watch the surfers, occasional sea lions and the water fowl that populate the area. If you enjoy hiking, it's only a short trek up the hill to a great trail that goes over to Canon Beach or there's a nice hike along the shore out around the large bluff.

Room Tip: We like the upper two levels for the best views.

Hello Rick and thanks for sharing your thoughts and hiking tips. We’re
glad to hear everything met your approval and you are right, the trail to
Cannon Beach is incredible. We hear it was used by Lewis and Clark to go
see a beached whale they heard about.

We had a great weekend at the Lanai at the cove. We stayed in room 23. It was very clean and comfortable and has a perfect view of the beach. It is so close to the water that we could watch the sea lions ride the waves and feed from inside our room. The furniture was all in really good shape and comfortable. We are looking forward to going back.

Room Tip: Any of the ocean view rooms are great.

My Fiancee and I went to the Lanai at the cove in Seaside Oregon for a relaxing get away and that is exactly what we got. This place has been one of our favorite little places to go to refresh and renew our life. It is so low key and peaceful. There is no other place in the area that is so close to the water that you can hear the waves crashing from your room. We enjoy building fires on the beach and watching the wonderful sea life. We have gone all times during the year winter or summer. We take advantage of the off season rates as they are so affordable and during off season it is much quieter. We love that we can walk to the boardwalk and into Seaside in the morning to have our breakfast but we always take advantage of the in room coffee that is provided by the hotel and sit and watch the surfers from our deck before exploring Seaside. Coming here is definitely something we do regularly and we consider it to be a necessity in life to get relaxation time together to re bond our relationship! Highly recommend it as a romantic getaway! <3 <3

Room Tip: We prefer upper level because the view is better and we open the sliding glass door to hear the ocea...

The establishment was well taken care of.. I was amazed to see how close to the water we were, i have stayed at several places in Seaside and never have had the view we had in our room #42. Im glad it was the only room we could find left in seaside that would take our dog cause we will be back. The staff was very nice and room was cleaned and decorated nicely. I will be back for do some storm watching since its soo close to the water.. LOVE IT!!!!!

My wife has been showing me the wonderful west ( I spent the last 30 years in Florida ) and this was my first time in Oregon; what a joy. After driving down the coast from Whidbey Island, Wa. we were welcomed by the managers ( Barb and Cory ) and placed in an oceanfront room on the second floor. The room accomodated all of our needs and nothing could beat the view from our balcony...except sleeping to the soothing sounds of the surf. If you are looking to get away from the "chains", this is your place.

Room Tip: The upper floor rooms that open to the ocean are well worth it.

Clean, tastefully decorated, cozy warm with a mesmorizing up-close view of the ocean waves! Wonderful experieince...comfy couch, bed, linens...nothing bad to say.
The surf is lit at night...one evening four deer wandered down to lick the salt on the rocks. We saw a seal, gulls and comerants. The waves were 25t!
On another occasion (not during a storm) I visited the nearby park and wacthed surfers.
Best place in Seaside for us. :)

Room Tip: A taste of tuscany...room 37
