“Good visit”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 13, 2012

Have to start with the very obvious and most positive part of our trip. The staff of the Inn was just wonderful, warm, and pleasant to our daughters and us. I don't think we could have been treated any nicer.
Bathroom was large and very nice.
Only 2 small negatives: hotel is a little outdated, but priced more reasonably than any other for the location (a block from the beach). We were on the bottom floor and we could hear every movement going on in the floor above us. Every creak, every step...we heard it. Thankfully, there was a fan for our room so we were able to try and drown out the creaking and stepping we heard above us. The floor was extra-creaky. :)
Overall, I would recommend this Inn!

Room Tip: Bottom floor was a bit noisy because of creaking floor above us.

This is the best location in Seaside unless you want to pay the bucks to be waterfront. You can walk to all restaurants and the beach is half a block away. Very spacious, clean rooms and helpful front desk. Excellent value.

Room Tip: Try the clam chowder at Norma's - they even sell it to take out.

Rented the Pinecrest house for 4 nights with family of 7. Lots of room, well stocked kitchen. Gas fireplace was a nice add even though we didn't use it. Wish there was screens on the windows so we could of opened windows for fresh cool air. Easy access and walk to the beach - much nicer non-crowded area of the beach.

Me & my wife stayed 2 nights in the cheapest smallest room they have and it was great, the room has a toliet and ref and microwave etc...but the shower is around the corner in there sauna area, but we get the only key when we need to shower and it was nice. The staff were area very friendly and funny. I kept eating the complimentary cookies they provide at the front desk. We walked 1 block to the nice beach area, and had a great time eating and shopping at all the nice places near by. The Inn is very clean and comfy. Again the staff are all great and they seem to really care about the Inn as if they area all part owners of the place.

My husband and I stayed in the jacuzzi room for 2 and it was amazing! Very clean, and so close to everything. The only drawback was the street outside was noisy til late in the night, but I cant blame that on the hotel. Upon checking out we were able to view one of the cottages that would be perfect for our little family. We will definitely be back!

My family of 5 recently spent a week at the Hillcrest in room 105, which is a cottage. It was a wonderful experience and was enjoyed by all. The staff did everything they could to make our stay comfortable. The kids borrowed toys for the beach, and board games for the room. There is also an extensive collection of DVD's. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Yes! we would stay here again in a moment.

Room Tip: Cottage 105 is close to parking.............

Once you are in your spacious room, you have no need to drive with the beach and good dining within walking distance. The person at the desk came out to meet the family, offered to carry luggage and provided wine glass and corkscrew when he saw me with a bottle of wine. The room price is amazing.
