Ate breakfast by the firepit on a rainy September morning and were not disappointed. Cozy atmosphere, attentive service and above average food. I had the traditional eggs benedict with house-made hollandaise. The eggs were poached perfectly--not a given even in more expensive restaurants. I prefer a little more lemon tang in my hollandaise, but that is a personal taste; it was fresh and there was a generous amount on the eggs. My husband had the French scrambled eggs with chunks of ham and the same sauce and said the texture of the eggs was exceptional--light and moist but thoroughly cooked. We both had the fruit side which was a generous serving of mixed melon. A very good start to the day.
