Was recomended by a shop near by, when ask where she would go for beer & wine. Late afternoon was a great find. Very frendly staff welcomed us. Good beer choices. Took advantage of the Happy hr Menu. They serve a smaller Irish cottage pie very good. Also had maybe the best wedge salad ever, with avocado, bacon & blue cheese & some more beer.
It got very busy after 6:00 & made it more fun." Will be back"

The whole menu says Irish but in reality it is their own take. I got the fish n chips which turned out to be tempura batter with a little beer and no flavor and their own fries (fries weren't the worst but far from the best). it was far from Irish fish n chips. The vibe is also very corporate. Service was good though and knowledgeable about their beer.

My husband and I stopped in while on our Valentine's trip. We went in the first time and had a drink. We'd seen an order of the fish and chips go by. They looked delicious and the portions looked huge so the next day we went back in, had a drink and got an order to share. The staff was friendly and the service was great. The atmosphere was really nice.

I enjoy the atmosphere and the food here each time I visit. The dinner menu is a little pricey for the area but lunch is affordable and delicious. If you are looking for lots of seafood options this is not the place to visit. There is variety on their menu but only a couple of seafood items. I have visited McKeowns when kids have been present but the hardwood floors make it noisy if the kids are not being contained. Great place for a couple or for a ladies night out.
