“Best breakfast by far”
Reviewed June 11, 2014

Absolutely loved my breakfast. The French toast is made from a baguette with plenty of fresh fruit on top. The bacon was crispy, and my egg was perfectly cooked. Best of all, our server, "Evil Doer" was superb.

“Great breakfast cafe”
Reviewed June 8, 2014

We read that this cafe had the highest rated local fare for breakfast and lunch, and we were not disappointed. We were seated immediately as there was no line - yet. We beat the crowd who arrived shortly thereafter. Service was attentive, friendly, and helpful. The meals were very well prepared in the kitchen which is up front and in full view of curious customers. Coffee is very good as well. Check out their mugs which are available for purchase.

“Great food + Great staff = Great experience!”
Reviewed May 31, 2014

Took family of 5 for breakfast Sat morn over long weekend. Looking for better food and experience than Pig-n-P...... in Seaside,OR. There was a bit of a wait maybe 10-15 min on benches outside an hour after opening, but that is to be expected from a smaller family owned restaurant with good reviews. Just get there early to get your name on the list. Waiter was friendly, cheerful, and chatted the kids up. Several menu specials including a spectacular wild mushroom omelette with goat cheese, great home fried red potatoes, and large fresh blueberry muffin instead of biscuit. Other family members had Potatoes Deluxe with a nice pesto, Biscuits and Gravy with thick sausage gravy, Kids French toast with powdered sugar, cut strawberries and blueberries, a scoop of homemade butter with bits of strawberry and honey, and a side of thick cut bacon. The food was well cooked, presented, and most importantly tasted great! A small place with maybe 10 tables, 5 booths, and a large counter with clean black and white decor and large seashell engraved prints on the walls. Fun to watch them cook in the open kitchen behind the large counter. Tasty coffee and water cups stayed full even being busy. Thanks Firehouse Grill, we will return for more!

“Great place to eat”
Reviewed May 28, 2014

My only complaint is that the place is small and it can be a wait to get a table. We ate at the counter and it doesn't have very many seats either! I had the kid size French toast and it was plenty for me and tasted delish. It was served with strawberries and the butter had little chunks of strawberry in it-very delish! My husband had the biscuits and gravy and he said they were very good. The wait staff was very pleasant and thanked us for waiting. I enjoyed watching the cooks as they worked!

“We had to see for ourselves”
Reviewed May 18, 2014

What restaurant could get reviews so great for breakfast and lunch? Well we finally found out. There were a lot of people, and we took the last open table. It was only 10 minutes after opening. From the time we entered the restaurant we were treated like they cared. The waiter was exceptional. We watched one great plate after another being served. Our food was served and it was simply great!! This was a treat for us and we now know a great place next year to eat. Well done!!
