We only stayed here one night on our trip up the coast and were sorry we weren't going to be there for longer! Room was gorgeous and spacious, fireplace, sitting area, great view of the dunes. Super clean, bed was VERY comfortable - softest sheets ever! DVDs and popcorn in the lobby. No restaurant on-site but there's a million places in town to eat (take the 10 minute walk to Patty's on the river for an early breakfast). Hotel is on the end of the promenade so it's not a high traffic area.

Room Tip: We stayed on the first floor in the first room to the right of the lobby (don't remember the num...

Just spent the most wonderful week at the Inn. Love the price, the location, the LINENS, but most of all the friendly accomodating staff! So personal and ready to meet your every need no matter what your request! Cannot wait till my next visit which is always a once or twice yearly occassion!

Room Tip: I prefer the second floor as the view of the ocean and sunsets are best there!

Possibly one of the nicest inns I've ever had the fortune of staying in. Immaculately clean, blissfully comfortable, tastefully decorated and wonderfully equipped. The service was intelligent, thoughtful and good-humored. So many nice little touches from the cookies, coffee and taffy to the complimentary DVD collection and the keys that don't need to be inserted into a fiddly slot! But the bigger touches too - like the sea view, the ample space, the mattress and bed linens - were also spot on. I was so relaxed I almost felt drugged! The location was perfect for us - at the quiet end of a long, lit boardwalk that runs into town and a few steps from a less-populated part of the beach. The price point is right for the guaranteed quality you get here. WHEN CAN WE COME BACK!!??

Room Tip: Stayed in 205 with an ocean view. So worth it!!

We had a wonderful time and look forward to a return trip. The service was excellent and it was obvious that the staff takes their high level of service very seriously.

Everything was just perfect and exceeded the high expectations that we had.

Room Tip: Room 201 was perfect. 2BR, end unit....very quiet

Just stay there and experience comfort, knowledgable, friendly staff, and the sounds of the ocean coming in through the windows. Fantastic place to visit! Will be back again! The hotel staff gave excellent information on Firehouse Grill, a must stop for breakfast after a great night of sleep! Also, a great selection of DVD's to choose from and watch in room.

Reservations experience...very good. Greeting and level of service from the front desk staff was on every occasion, excellent. The place is modern and clean..however, a bit of general maintenance is in order...ie fix the cabinet doors. It was pretty clean, but my choice to have a soak in the nice deep jetted tub was not so good....hair from a previous guest was present..gross! We has a partial view, so our room was side & back...there is no A/C, no fan, and no breeze at all unless you leave the entrance door open. It was, at times, way too warm in there for comfort.
We'd stay here again, but not in this room.
SEASIDE...we ate at 3 different places. Not one offered good value. The prices were way too high for what you got at all. Example..Norma's..I don't care how long this place has been here..a smallish piece of salmon, though fresh and perfectly cooked and a scoop of rice for $22.00 is absurd. It seems that this is the accepted standard in this town, according to 1local business person we spoke to. Shiloh ocean front..don't go..the view does not compensate for the food. Guido & Vito..the menu was a great read...our mouths watered all afternoon in anticipation of dinner...what a disappointment...1 dish barely lukewarm, and the other just passable...boring, flavourless. $26 & $27 prices totally not earned, and the $27 one was the House speciality! prices not at all justified..maybe $16.00..or maybe go somewhere else. If we comeback to Seaside, we will look for a place with a kitchenette! Kidding..not on holidays.

Room Tip: If you are looking for full ocean view, get the 2nd floor, or your view will be of sand dunes.

Found this place randomly and chose a Booth Brothers suite due to price. We were surprised to find ourselves in this lovely apartment style vacation home about a block from the beach and two blocks from promenade. It provided a quiet private setting as our base with all the conveniences of home. All I could think was how much I'd like to return!
