Clean room, great staff and they do the little things for their guests like offer popcorn in the evening. This property is only three blocks from the beach and I was able to easily access the beach for my morning run. Did I mention that there's a view of the river as well? There is.

Stayed 2 nights last weekend with 3 teens and a 9 year old. Room was nice and clean standard 2 queens. not quite large enough for 5 though. Beds very comfortable. kids enjoyed the very warm pool, not very large but we were there on a sun. and mon., so not too crowded. Kinda a bummer that they filled the hottub in with cement though. Very close to everything in downtown Seaside. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was better than most hotels. The free movies, popcorn, and cookies a very nice touch.! Had a groupon so the price was great, but there are other places that would be cheaper with larger standard rooms, and better views as well in Seaside, but with a Groupon I would return again!.

Our room was cozy and comfortable with everything we needed including a view of something other than the next building. We had a room that overlooked the canal and was just 2 short blocks from everything. Linda is awesome...she remembers what you like, bakes chocolate chip cookies, warm and fresh at check-in, then pops bags of yummy popcorn to go with the bazillion movies they have in the free library. It's not a fancy place...if you want a lot of amenities, go somewhere else (they do have an indoor pool). But if you want a convenient location and friendly staff, this place is great. Kudos, also, to our housekeepers Esperanza and Elvira. In fact all the housekeepers acted like they were happy to be there, so you know someone's running this place right. The bed might just be the most comfortable we've had at a hotel, and the breakfast was substantial. My honey brought mine up for me so I'm not sure what all there was, but mine was delicious blueberry toast (tasted home baked), yogurt, hard-boiled egg, fruit and juice.

Room Tip: We've stayed twice and always on the top (3rd) floor. Very quiet.

My family and I went on a trip up to Astoria and we decided to stay in Seaside and drive up the next day. We found this hotel on hotels.com. Hotels.com said that they were pet friendly and so we booked the room. When we got there we found that Hotels.com had stated they were pet friendly, but we found out that the suite we booked wasn't, However the amazing front desk lady Linda didn't make a big fuss over it, we had a very small dog and was able to get us set up. Linda was a wonderful start to a great stay @ seaside she made the check in process fun explaining all the amazing things that come along with your stay and at what times breakfast, cookies, popcorn would be served. Linda was very kind and a pleasure to meet. It seemed like we had ran into family. The room was amazing as well. We had five people and we were able to sleep/stay comfortably in the Junior Suite was great for a family, also had a full kitchen, two bathrooms and a fire place, blocks away from the beach and all the shopping you can handle. Overall I would rate this place a 110/100 Amazing and thanks again Linda for the wonderful time can't wait to see you next time we come up there! ;-)

Room Tip: If you have a family the Junior suite is perfect we slept 2 couples and another person had a full si...

The Inn at Seaside is a nice place to stay. It is directly across the street from the Convention Center, one block off the main downtown street with all the restaurants and shops, and it's a 2 block straight shot to the beach.

The room is standard with 2 queen beds. Nice and clean. Some rooms are dog friendly, we took out little dog and they had a little basket of dog items in the room. The mattress and pillows could really use an upgrade, they really were not comfortable and I had a very hard time sleeping because of this. The room darkening curtains were great except when you wanted to have them open for daylight, there is not the standard sheer that you can keep pulled for privacy. This was a problem being located on the first floor and people on the sidewalk less than 5 feet away walking by and looking into the room. We had to keep the curtains pulled all the time.

There is a small green space to take your dog and they provide clean up bags.

The indoor pool was nice and warm.

Nice flat screen TV with lots of channels. DVD's are available to borrow in the lobby.

Complimentary wi-fi is always appreciated.

The complimentary breakfast was great. Hard boiled eggs, cereal, and a variety of fruits, breads, muffins, juices plus coffee.

The bathroom shower pressure was wonderful, and the dispensers with shampoo, conditioner and body wash was handy. There is a little hair dryer in the bathroom and a coffee maker.

Overall, it's a nice place to stay close to all the Seaside action.

I had a great time. Staff was exceptional. I give it a 9.5/10. A 10 would be if they added a couple of healthier breakfast options to the breakfast. Otherwise nice and comfy :-)
Close to beach, shops, and food.

Conveniently located in downtown, walkable to everything. Refunded a night's stay because of bad weather, no questions asked. Pet friendly, clean. Breakfast could be a lil more substantial. No exercise room was my only complaint.
