It's a small coffee house. You place your order at the counter and sit in a booth, at a window counter or comfy chairs.

Our lunch was excellent. I had a sandwich on a croissant, mmm, and Auntie M's salad, which was most delicious. My sister-in-law had her sandwich on wheat, which was a lovely crunchy roll, not just wheat bread. She said her vegetable soup was very good.

This was definitely our best meal in Seaside!

Excellent service, friendly staff, wonderful food. A can't miss during your stay. You might consider staying at Sandy Cove Inn across the street. We found it to be a great place to stay.

This was a pleasant little coffeshop away from the main busy roads. The artwork and ambiance was nice. The service was good. My main complaint was that the food was just average. I mean, sure, it's good food considering it's a coffee shop (which normally just have a couple pastries and that's it). But this place was rated #1 on TripAdvisor at the time I went and I expected more. Still a cool little place, just don't expect to be blown away by the food.

Ambiance: FIVE SPOONS
Service: FOUR SPOONS
COFFEE: FIVE SPOONS
SANDWICHES: THREE SPOONS

This place has a cozy warm feeling and definitely a welcomed retreat after a walk along the Pacific on a cold day.

However, the sandwiches are just average.....yes, a warm, fresh croissant, a pile of meat, and some cheese, all heated up make a good, average breakfast sandwich. That is it. The four of us saw nothing special to the food that would make it above average, let alone excellent. We do not know or understand why this place is rated # 1.

You want excellent? Eat here then go to Patti's Wicker Basket for their breakfast. We ate there yesterday and you can check out our excellent review. That was something special. Sorry, Autie Ems is just average.

So THREE SPOONS from the Bonkmeister Travelling RV GOURMET road show where we hit the top rated TRIP ADVISOR gastronomical extravaganzas.

We stayed across the street at the Inn at the Shore (loved the hotel so much – see my review for it if you’re looking for a place to stay in Seaside)…walked over here for breakfast and it was perfect! So many delicious baked goods, quiche, etc., and awesome service. The food was delicious…our party had a scone and a quiche as well as hot beverages. Very friendly small town attitude and just a cute little place for breakfast, quiet and comfortable. Will definitely come back some day!
