“Great nice day eatery, dog-friendly”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 20, 2013

This is a particularly great stop if you have canine friends in tow (a couple of ropes to tie them up, inside a nicely marked area keeping them away from the parking but close to the outside tables). Small pans are available for giving them water as well.
The patio is a glorious place to sit in nice weather, and the food is very good. Seaside, sadly enough, is afflicted with the thick slop clam chowder, but the U Street Pub does it right, with nice bacon flavoring, cream, and glorious flavor. The best Boston clam chowder I've had in Seaside so far.
Good service, good portions, reasonable prices. I've tried quite a few places in Seaside, and this is currently in my top two. Might not like this place if you don't have a sense of humor, though (one of their signs proclaims their fondness for gluten and love of meat).

“Cold Beer and Great Food”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 6, 2013

This little gem is located on a quiet culdesac at the end of the Seaside boardwalk. Mostly locals, but fun and friendly. The place was full of families which is nice. They have lots of cold beer on tap and wine as well. I ordered the spicy mussels and they were so good I had them twice. My husband loved the shrimp po'boy sandwich. Great food, good time, will definitely come back for more mussels!

Have to try their Quick Wit brew with a splash of fresh oj! Not on their menu but waitress brought it to table after I ordered the brew..said to try it and if I didn't like it she would replace it...went back the next night for another! Dog friendly, too

“Best burgers in Seaside!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 22, 2013 via mobile

Lunch outdoors--fabulous! And since this pub is located off the beach, we were blown away by the wind! My burger was grrr-eat! And they served hard cider--which is refreshing on a warm summer day!
