We have discovered one of our new favorite spots on the Oregon Coast. The U street pub has a great beach atmosphere. Their shrimp po boy is featured with a note, "do not share this'. IT IS RIGHT! The seasoning was perfect cajun and the shrimp grilled and seasoned to perfection. The slaw dressing was just right. We are thinking of returning this evening for another taste before heading home. We highly recommend U street pub as a place to experience when visiting Seaside, OR

14 beers on tap. Friendly staff, great food! Would eat there again. The batter on the shrimp and fish was light, not over-powering, I had a glass of cabernet and it was it was a good size glass, unlike some places where you get a glass of wine and it's only 2 swallows.

We stay just across the street, so very convenient. Nice selection of beers. Good cup of chowder. We had fish and chips last time, very good. We'll be back.

We stayed just a block away from this well kept pub ultimately TripAdvisor reviews are what persuaded us to try it out but I didn't find all the reviews to accurate so here's a fresh perspective: This little joint is unlike any other place, so don't have expectations of coming here to find gourmet over-price food cause you'll end up pleasantly surprised with the steal-deal prices on the best comfort-type food you can get. Perfect beach food includes over-sized fried clams, the most cozy and creamy clam chowder (with plenty of clams) ever and perfectly made drinks! It's a relaxing place to have a quick bite, with a very charming and funny owner, ENJOY!
