It must have been one of those days. It started when we called and were told no reservations for less than 6 but "we will put you on the list anyway." When we showed up, no one had a list. We ordered wine, but were told the menu was a misprint. When we said the water was funny we were told it was because of a new filter; and that there was no bottled water. When we ordered more pita bread, they sent sour dough. The scallops were over-cooked; the halibut was great; the hamburger had a baked potato side?! The second drink never came. The wait staff apologized every step of the way. It seems as though you can't get a job here unless you know how to repeatedly say "I'm sorry" or "Absolutely." Hopefully it was just an off day. Hopefully. Oh, one other thing: we were told repeatedly there was a waiting list for the outside deck tables, but we saw people come in who went out immediately. A group of 4 sat at the table for six. No coherent policy was evident.
