“A mountain Icon”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed April 19, 2012

The checker board paint job is grandfathered in and doesn't have to meet the "Sandy Look" that the rest of the town is adopting. Fresh donuts daily - hard to beat. A must stop for those heading to the mountain for a day on the slopes.

“Good Dougnuts”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 4, 2012

Some of the best dougnuts around. It's a great place with good coffee and you can pick up your snow park pass there.

“The Best Around”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 15, 2011

These are the best doughnuts I've had anywhere in or around Portland. Joe's is a great stop-off if you're heading from Portland to Mt. Hood or passing through to Central Oregon. These are large, fluffy, doughnuts and all are absolutely delicious. Full of flavor, cooked right...not too little or too much, good quality ingredients you can taste and not overly sweetened like some places mistakingly will do (If you find a doughnut that has to use so much sugar you can't taste the doughnut, that's not a good sign). You can't miss the white and red checkered building on the right-side on the main route through Sandy as you go to the mountains. This is a great time of year for skiers and you would do yourself a favor to stop in. Someone told me they make a great breakfast burrito but I wouldn't know since my eyes are fixated on the doughnuts whenever I walk in.

“Best donuts I've ever eaten!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 21, 2010

Joe's has ruined me on other donuts for life. These were the absolute best donuts I have ever tasted. Looked and tasted homemade, melted in my mouth without being overly sweet or greasy. Also, awesome deal on coffee drinks -- up to 5 shots in any size cup for $2.50.
