This is the place if you want the best sushi in Salem. After 11 years of visiting Kyoto, I've never had a bad experience. The chef, Hiroshi, prepares excellent sushi along with a large dose of good humor. Most importantly, the fish is fresh and good in quality. From the simple Tekka Maki to their Spider Roll, the food is uniformly good. My kids especially like the Unagi Roll (although there was some initial hesitation). Don't sit at one of the tables. Sit up at the bar where you can see your food made and enjoy interacting with the chef and other patrons. It's well worth the trip.
