My 7 year old granddaughter enjoyed every area! Her daddy played a game of chess with her and enjoyed a chase through the maze. She tried on some fun costumes and made large bubbles to burst. Next time we will be sure to visit the carousel nearby.

Lots of interesting and stimulating activities for children of all ages. I took my 2 year old nephew there and it was great! I even had fun playing with the bubbles and dressing up in costumes. Plus it is right next to a big park and a carousel!

What a great place for the rainy days of Salem. Kids love it. Lots to explore and see. Membership gets you into OMSI as well. Worth every penny. Only issue is that its not ADA friendly for the upstairs.

Some out of town visitors wondered what to do with their children while they had appointments in Salem. I volunteered to take them to the Discovery Village where I knew they would each find something to amaze them. We learnt a lot about A C Gilbert, an American Olympian who turned to making toys. We spent most of our time in the room where boys and girls can make a bubble big enough to stand inside. But each room in this village has something to remember. Go there and find out what is your favorite!
