Owner description: Smack in the middle of the city sits the 90-acre Bush's Pasture Park, with trails for jogging, walking or biking, picnic areas and playgrounds, Oregon's oldest greenhouse conservatory and the historic Bush House Museum, a Victorian home with original wallpaper and furnishings.
Reviewed October 4, 2012

The Park has wide grassy expanses, picnic facilities under big shade trees, a running path, and the feeling of being away from the city, in spite of being in a residential area, just blocks from downtown. In the Park are the Bush house and conservatory, hundreds of rose bushes, and the Art Barn, with changing exhibits and a really nice gift shop. The Park is the site of the regionally acclaimed juried Art Fair in July. So there are many reasons to visit the park, and not just once!

This is my favorite park in town. It's a great place to bring your dog, kids, or just grab a book and get away from it all. The squirrels are a lot of fun too. They eat right out of your hands.

nice park for down town Salem, its in a older well kept neighborhood, if you go during the art fair, be ready to look hard and long for parking. nice dog walking park (please keep your dog on a leash). more of a neighborhood dog walk park, the art on exhibits from local artist can be interesting.

This is such a nice place to walk around and enjoy the gardens, see the house and let the kids play. Beautiful on a summer afternoon.
