Nob Hill Riverview Bed & Breakfast
Ranked #1 of 2 Saint Helens B&B and Inns

Having read all the glowing reviews of Nob Hill Riverview Inn, we were still impressed and delighted with our beautiful "Paris Room", which reminded us of our trip to France, and the hospitality and delectable breakfast by Innkeeper Tana. We boated in and found St. Helens to be an unexpected gem of a town--easy to travel by foot and good local entertainment and food, especially the Plantation Pub! Great two-day escape! If you are looking for a place that will make you feel like a VIP and at the same time treat you like an honored family member, this is the place. Quality of everthing here is top notch. The location to the Historic waterfront is very close. Beds are beyond comfortable. Just try to not sleep in. Tana and Matt are the perfect hosts. You will find them very personable and ingaginging. I can't say enought about Nob Hill Bed and Breakfast. This is a place not to be missed......if you like historic homes, you can't do better. Enjoy!
P.S. WiFi is very good here

Room Tip: The best views are from the "Paris Apartment.

We frequently stay at B&B's and were really delighted with the owners of this beautiful Craftsman style home. After a tour of the house and room they invited us in for a glass of wine by the fireplace and made suggestions for places to eat and things to do. Such a nice couple and a warm welcome! Breakfast was delicious and organic with homemade yogurt as a starter. The upstairs apartment room (Paris) was lovely and quiet, the bed was comfortable, the complementary cookies were wonderful and the view is spectacular. If you are wanting a tub, make sure you book a downstairs room, there's only a small shower upstairs. The bathroom is tiny but functional. There is a little kitchen area, a dining area, a nice living room, closet space...all in all a great little apartment.
We would definitely stay here again.

My family and friends thoroughly enjoyed Christmas at the Nob Hill Bed & Breakfast. We had everything we needed to snuggle in for the holidays. Our hosts even decorated our suite with Christmas tree & lights. Add a cozy fireplace, complimentary wine and a wonderful kitchen for my friend, the traveling chef, and the celebratory mood was set. Skiers in the group had a post-Christmas perfect day, with only an hour's drive to Mt Hood. Lift tickets were just $33 and several inches of newly fallen snow greeted them to a world of white powder. After a day of skiing the group dined at the Brazil Grill, only one of the many fabulous restaurants in the Portland area. What a great holiday!

Our stay was an extremely pleasant and an unexpected surprise. Our room was luxurious and outfitted perfectly to fit it's Parisian theme. The sitting room was very large and comfortable. A good night's sleep was had in the comfortable bed. The quietness of the +surrounding neighborhood enhanced this experience. The only downside was a small bathroom. The decor of the living and dining room are not to be missed. A panoramic view of the Columbia River.is had from the front porch. A hearty breakfast was accompanied by a pleasant conversation with the hostess.

Recently, a friend and myself went to this bed and breakfast. Tana and Matt were delightful and very accomodating. The house is beautiful and well taken care of. Tana and Matt definitely cooked up some great meals, (even with some dietary restrictions that we had requested). I would highly recommend a get-a-way here. Next time, I'd like to do more exploring during the day such as kayaking, going to Seaside, etc.

We love historic B&B's, and Nob Hill Riverview did not disappoint. It was relaxing and elegant. We were pampered with wine in the evening and in the morning, breakfast with fresh eggs from the hen in the back yard. Our hosts pointed out the locations where the movie Twilight was filmed, and told interesting stories of the history of the Nob Hill house and the arduous renovations they performed (ask Matt about his orange-hair episode!). Upon reviewing the B&B's website AFTER our stay, I would say that the site accurately describes what to expect, including the excellent service.
