We love the place. Hike around. Take pictures. Beautiful but it can get scary. We go off season. It's easy to wander off and not see anybody else.
There are several locations for access. The one just labeled "Oregon Dunes" is hiking only, and there are other hiking trails marked as well. Remember to pack water especially if it is hot.
While it appears to be an Oregon State Park, it's actual the US Forest Service, and you will need either one of their permits or a parking pass to visit.
